Cozy and great value for money

Very cozy apartment, great location and really comfortable bed. Big window with big view and light. Enough space. Very nice and helpful staff. Boss helped carry my luggage both when I came and when I went. And got a taxi for me. Impressive.

Minor details. For the price nothing to complain about. Let's just say it's not Waldorf Astoria. But doesn't cost as much either. In a nutshell: I stayed at a more famous hotel before this one, costing twice as much. But I liked Stella much better. And didn't really want to leave. I don't like central heating that they do in Serbia and also Czech Republic. It makes no sense. The guest should himself be 100% in control of regulating the room temperature. My room was fine though. If you have a lot of heavy luggage be aware there's no elevator. I was on the top floor. :) Location is perfect. And it really feels like you have your own private place. You don't even need to see any staff, unless you ask for them. And when you see them they are very friendly and positive. Great place.

The apartment is very close to all the amenities, so I didn’t have to travel far. The owner is very helpful, check-in was easy, and the place is very quiet. It’s spacious enough for a solo traveler. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and very quiet/ peaceful — right in the very center of Belgrade!

The apartment is in the sublevel of the building — and it has a unique and cozy layout and design! It’s very quiet and peaceful, even though it’s located in the very center of Belgrade, (walking distance from everything you’ll need - grocery/ restaurants/ venues/ attractions). Also - the host was very friendly and helpful!

Great hosts and location

The communication and interaction was excellent, I think it was the hosts mum who met us and she very lovely. The room is small but clean, cosy and very well located. We needed a bed for the night before a flight and this was perfect. Would recommend.

The host was very nice and contacted us the day before our arrival. We could easily communicate via WhatsApp which was very helpful for getting the keys and to check in.

Didn't expect to be on the top floor of the building, (maybe I missed in the booking detail). We only had small suitcases to carry up the stairs which was ok.

Check in was easy and smooth. The apartment was in a very central location and had all what we needed for our stay. The host was friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable.

The apartment was in a great location, close to Republic Square, many attractions, and convenient to the parking garage on Oblicev Venac.The entrance and the courtyard were very attractive. Communications with Filip, the property manager, were quick and easy.

THe apartment I reserved turned out to be on the 4th floor, in a building with no elevator (not mentioned in the listing). This didn’t work for me, and the hostess (owner?) had another option - an apartment partially below ground with a strange setup on three separate levels. This apartment wasn’t super clean though, and the lower two levels (the bedroom, bathroom and sitting area had no windows. While I appreciated not having to climb all the steps and the hostess came up with what was possibly the best solution, the apartment really wasn’t very nice, and no discount was offered for what was much less nice than the listed one. The hostess asked me not to communicate with Filip, which seemed sketchy.

Avoid, if you can

Location is great. But many stairs to climb if you have luggage.

No proper bed sheets. The room smelt musty and damp. Terrible water pressure. And no hot water. Was also woken up by pigeons at the window at 6am. So I wouldn't recommend it or stay there again!

Small overnight stay in the heart of Belgrade

There are a few things that prevent me from giving a lower score (while I would like to!). The first is hospitality of the hosts. They were extremely helpful, always in touch, and welcomed me warmly at the night of my arrival. The second is location. The room is located perfectly near some pedestrian streets, and it was very convenient for me to go to all my meetings. Also, there was no smoke smell in the apartment (which is not always the case in Serbia) and a high quality air conditioner available. There is also central heating for winter time.

The room is nothing like pictures. I am surprised people here gave it an average of more than 9/10 even considering the value for money. It is extremely small. It has three levels - you step in, than there is a step up to the main room and a step down to the bathroom. I nearly broke my legs a couple of times in the night. Everything is quite worn out, especially unpleasant are 2 from 3 soft chairs. The blanket is extremely small. On the top of all this, the bathroom is also worn out, with some black spots inside (mold? fungus?), quite sensitive taps where you can barely adjust temperature, and the water pressure in the shower was terrible - I could barely take the shower and wash my hair! I must say that I did not expect much from this accommodation option, but it had somewhat screwed my overall Belgrade experience. If you want to save some money - maybe go, but if you want to enjoy your stay - better to hold off.

Perfect!The trees in the yard are beautiful.

The location is very good! Walking distance to the surrounding scenic spots, shopping and taking the bus are very convenient. The landlord is a very nice person! His mother, who received us, is a very lovely and beautiful lady. Very very friendly.It's great to know that I'm going to Sarajevo for one day and I'll check my luggage for free.

MY BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

This is one of my best experiences ever! The location is fantastic, it couldn't be better, in the very center of the city, the main street. Although the location is on the main street, apartments have their own inner courtyards so it is very peaceful and beautiful to sleep. The apartment was perfectly clean and very nicely organized (coffee, tea and water are free). The hosts are very kind people and they were always at my service. I definitely recommend these Apartments and I will definitely come back again. STELLA IS THE BEST ❤️❤️❤️

So I have contacted the host same day before arriving so that I can get to know the check in instructions and I was told to call just when I arrive. I have arrived at 4:00pm, the owner came downstairs to tell me that I can’t stay because of a water issue and she insisted to take me to nearby hotel which was more expensive than the initial booking price and I paid for that because I had no other options. Also, owners don’t speak English at all which make it impossible to communicate with. I think this apartment should be delisted from booking

OK, but fell very short of the description

Good location. Very central to pubs, cafes and shopping. Comfortable bed. Hotel owners father met us out the front and showed us to the building (behind a front building) and up the 6 flights of stairs. He spoke very little English but seemed very friendly. Unfortunately they onky accept cash, so we all had to walk back down the stairs and go to a local ATM (we were not told this beforehand otherwise we would have come prepared).

Can only pay in cash. This wasn't mentioned before arrival! The 'hotel' is an apartment turned into a hotel, with no reception. This is not a conventional hotel (the owner lives next door). Rooms are located behind a building and up 6 flights of stairs (92 steps and no elevator). Unfortunately, our room smelt of sewage coming from our bathroom. It was unpleasant but bearable. We found our room very noisy. Could hear other guests talking, coughing, TVs and anytime someone used a tap/toilet. We also paid for the better room, but were put in the cheaper room (only found out on last day when we saw into the other room). Overall, pretty unhappy with our stay.

Not what I expected from an accommodation rated 9.3.

Location

The 4th floor was a bit messy. The room with the abundance of fake roses and the rose poster covering the wall was insanely kitschy, and the antique-style lamp made it even worse. The water heater was in the shower cabin, and it probably provided hot water for several rooms. The toilet paper holder placed behind the toilet bowl is not a common or pleasant solution. For this price, you could rent a smaller apartment in Belgrade. The operator's father doesn't speak any English, I could hardly understand anything he was saying.
