Good for a night

It’s a nice hotel for a night as it’s close to the city center. The room is spacious and clean.

Not really a 4* hotel. The amenities are very basic in the room and the bit expensive for what you get. I was missing a proper blanket on the bed.

The shower head was malfunctioning with water ozing out like a tap. My last night was terrible due to noise from the next room(702), I could not sleep.

Great base for exploring city and close to train stations to travel around the area sightseeing.

Good location for reaching city centre. We had a quiet room , rooftop bar area had good views and quiet atmosphere. Staff were helpful and breakfast had good choice.

AWFUL. DO NOT STAY HERE

Literally not one thing. The place is HORRIBLE.

Everything. DO NOT STAY HERE. Firstly, housekeeping did't clean our room and then they GASLIT us telling us we had our "do not disturb sign" on the door, which we did NOT. I have no idea how this place can be a "4 star hotel." The whole hotel is extremely run down, the doors and walls are thin so you can hear everything and the air conditioning DOES NOT WORK. It worked a little (still very warm) the first 1.5 days, but then broke all together and no one helped and it was SO HOT. The staff was very unhelpful, didn't offer to fix it or move us, PLUS the elevator broke while we were there and people were stuck in the elevator for over an hour (see photos) and then when they came out the concierge tried to blame them and then everyone was shouting and arguing in the lobby until 2am and it was so scary I had to call the cops. Whole place was a nightmare and we didn't receive any compensation for all the problems we had.

Not what I was expecting.

The staff were very nice and responsive. The rooms assigned in the 3rd floor had an issue with the air conditioning and the rooms were extremly hot in a 95 degree wether. They didn't had staff to check the AC that day, as it was Sunday, so they brought us a fan to make it through the night. The next day they change us to another room, which was a suite with an additional AC console. I wish they had switch us to a different room the same night we arrived.

The location, was not as expected. It's about 15-17 minutes from Calle Larios and the area around didn't had much nice restaurants or bars. Also the area looked dirty and not well maintained. I selected the hotel, because it offers parking, but they have a super tiny garage, that was full and we had to park at a nearby parking lot (the hotel validated the ticket for a flat rate as a guest of 17 euros per night).

Dreadful experience.

Location and cleanliness.

The check-in process was an absolute joke. I have never spent so long being checked into a property. I can only assume the staff member had never checked people in before. Seated for over 10 minutes for a straightforward booking and then told at the end of this ridiculous prices that there was no twin room available. Would never stay at this hotel again.

Room clean but poor experience. Not what pictures suggest. No evening bar or restaurant facility.

Location just about ok

Breakfast limited selection. Scrambled egg cold. Not much bacon and just a few sausages. All either Luke warm or cold. Coffee machines temperamental. Room window looked out onto a neighboring brick wall with a few shuttered windows. Couldn't see anything.

Friendly Staff at hotel with a good central location

Extremely friendly staff at the front desk - The gentlemen who checked us in was brilliant and gave us all sorts of help with tourism information; on check out - there was an issue with our hotel shuttle on the day of our departure but that was sorted promptly and with no issue by the woman at the desk, we only arrived 15 minutes later to the airport that expected and were happy

Soap in the bathroom wasn't filled up throughout our stay, had to use the one in the shower instead - we didn't make the reception aware of this, just decided to deal with it instead; Air con was a bit on the slow side to cool down the room and keep cool at night - wasn't too much of an issue because we were in Malaga in May, but in Summer, might have been a different story.

Good size room with large opening window.

Thought it was poor that there seemed to be no option but to climb the stairs at the entrance. No bar. No English TV though that seems normal these days.

Booked a double bed, but got twin. Noisy, crying children in the hotel and lots of noise from street at 2am! Roof bar also had loud music so everybody was shouting to be heard. WiFi was rubbish. 0.8 Mbps

Great Location - Rooms not Cleaned Properly.

Location was great.

Main complaint was the room was dirty. The floors in particular were not clean. The bathroom floor was filthy and there was hair and dust behind the wash basin. This is a shame because it could be a great little hotel.

The hotel was well located, close to main attractions and easy to reach by public transport.

The room on the top floor, just beneath the roof terrace, was very noisy, with people constantly walking overhead.

Drain smells in lobby area, and occasionally in the room. Breakfast area was pretty soulless, and resembled a more down-market hotel. It didn't feel like a 4-star experience.

Good but could have been better

The hotel is at a 10 min walk from the center and also from the train station. There a many coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The staff is very freindly and helpful.

The price is very high compared to the quality of the room. When i arrived, i realized that for 150 euro a night (price paid) i could have a way better options on the same area.

Nice stay, convenient location

The hotel is well located for town and all its restaurants, and also the main train line to the airport and coast. The room and bed was large, powerful shower and had a coffee machine. Breakfast was nice too.

A perfect spring break in a lovely city, good hotel and nice warm weather.

Location in 'Soho' area of Malaga was new to us, although we have stayed very near on 4 previous occasions. The range of food offered for the breakfast was very good, and constantly replenished. The whole hotel was clean and well maintained.

The roads around the hotel are still a bit untidy, but will hopefully improve as the area is developed.

The air conditioning is either hot or cold. So it was blowing out warm air. Evan after turning it off the room was hot also had to sleep with the windows open! Noisy

A great location for the station and buses but too noisy if you want a restful stay.

The location was good. Very close to the station for the airport train. The room was clean. Staff werd friendly.The rooftop bar was enjoyable.

The room was too warm and stuffy even though there was no apparent heating on. We had to have the window open and it was extremely noisy until after 3.00am. We had no towels on arrival and had to ask for these. A bath mat for the shower would have been useful as there was nowhere to hang a tiwel near the shower and we had to step out onto a wet, slippy floor.

Dirty, needs modernising, basic for the price. Room walls and curtains dirty and old fashioned. Cups and coffee machine dirty and didn’t work.. expensive rates.. don’t bother staying here, there is much better hotels in the area..

A little disappointed

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was lovely. Plenty of hot water.

The air con wasn't working very well. The coffee machine didn't work. No kettle for tea! The cooked breakfast was not hot enough each morning. Soho Boutique Bahia Hotel was meant to be a Four Star hotel but it felt more like a Three Star.
