Beautiful stay and beautiful views in a gorgeous apartment

We looooved absolutely everything about this place. The apartment is very well equipped, including the kitchen as well, the rooftop and views amazing of course. You definitely need a car (or a bus to arrive with from Manarola) otherwise it’s not easily reachable

They didn’t send us the check in link therefore we needed to chase and call for instructions and exact location once we were there. And what we learnt later that they didn’t send us the cinque terre card which should be sent by the accommodation and we kept buying the daily ticket for the trek whilst we supposed to have it included.

Just a perfect place

Just great place. View from the top is magnific. Small market just beside the appartment so we can buy fresh pasta and pesto to coke our own diner.

The location and views were amazing. The roof terrace was lovely.

Slight drains smell to the bathroom but with older drains in the village probably can’t be helped.

I would recommend for a short 2-3 night stay for young people

I liked the location of a quiet village away from the hustle and bustle of cinque terre. The flat was clean.

Amazing views from the rooftop terrace, but in September it was far too hot to sit outside during the day as there was no umbrella or shade. It makes me think – what’s the point paying extra for this when you can't use it. We were able to use the terrace in the evenings, but I was hoping for peace and quiet. Instead, the only thing you could hear every night was the neighbors’ loud TV, not the sounds of nature. What can you do... I was traveling with a nearly 70-year-old parent, so climbing the stairs to the roof was not ideal. I've seen the staircase on the photos but I didn't realise it is leading to the terrace. I think these things should be in the flat description, so we know what we are signing up for. There is also a dangerous drop in the kitchen floor by the entrance (I marked it on the photo) and unfortunately my mum had a fall. Luckily, apart from bruising, nothing serious happened. The place is advertised as having a coffee machine, yet no pods were supplied. For 6 nights, we were also given just 2 washing machine pods. Are guests really expected to travel with washing machine pods now? We were left with only one bath towel each. With the humidity levels there, I personally would like a fresh towel after 3 nights, but there was no washing machine available. By night 5, I felt disgusted using the same towel. I also had issues with check-in. I called the number provided 3 times, but nobody answered or ever called me back. During the check-in process we asked for both the bed and the sofa to be made up, since the place is advertised with 2 beds. We were provided with bedding for only one. The bathroom cannot be aired properly and it smelled unpleasant. With the bed right next to the bathroom, this was far from ideal. Lastly, the apartment is described as comprising 2 living rooms, 1 separate bedroom, and 1 bathroom. In reality, it is a studio flat, so the description is misleading. WiFi quality was also poor.

Silent neibourghood, two restaurants and small grocery store near by. Efficient air conditioner which is a value in hot days/nights. Good location if you are there for hiking.

Superb

It was modern and had all the amenities we wanted. It was quite and private. The sunsets were beautiful and the roof view was just spectacular. It has a fully equipped kitchen that allowed us cook dinners and have breakfasts the way we wanted. I loved the roof access.

Very good

Overall good experience. Nice, clean apartment with a fantastic rooftop terrace. Close to a few restaurants and the bus stop to get to Manarola.

A few more condiments would have been appreciated such as oil for cooking, salt and pepper, etc. Furthermore, no washing machine was available which again would have been nice but not a deal breaker. Lastly, the rooftop blinds wouldn't shut so the sun was a bit of an issue in the morning but again not really too bad considering we were up early to go out.

Exceptional

There is a private parking for car in 5 minutes away from apartment. Check-in was quite easy, we get a door code, owners were always reachable through phone. Apartment has one big room, like a studio and bathroom. On top of the roof there is terrace with needed furniture. Accomodation quite modern and bright.

La vue est l'appartement

Le lieu n'était pas chauffé à mon arrivée, il a fallut plusieurs heures afin de récupérer une température correct. Sinon le chauffage marche bien. L'eau chaude était coupé au robinet pour notre première douche, la difficulté à trouver le logement avec les informations ainsi que la place de parking. Merci les riverains, un plan aurait été plus simple car trouver la place de parking dans le noir entre les oliviers, c'était mission impossible. Aucun restaurant ouvert en Janvier, seulement la superette

Vista mare stupenda

La casa si sviluppa lato strada su un solo piano, mentre complessivamente i piani sono due. Al di sopra, l'edificio si conclude con un terrazzo, raggiungibile con scala a chiocciola dall'interno dell'appartamento, che ricalca completamente la planimetria. L'appartamento si sviluppa in un unico ambiente più il bagno. Le aree giorno (cucina e soggiorno con divano letto) e notte (con letto matrimoniale) sono ben distribuite e arredate. Il letto è comodo (da rivedere i cuscini). La cucina è ben organizzata e stoviglie e pentole sono sufficienti per un soggiorno. È presente la lavastoviglie, un fornetto a microonde, la macchina da caffè, un bollitore e il tostapane.

Una sola pecca: la cucina non era perfettamente pulita, con resti di cibo sulle posate e piccoli colaticci sugli sportelli degli armadi. Per il resto, perfetto.

Super séjour

Superbe terrasse avec une vue splendide sur la mer. Toutefois, l’accès se fait par un escalier en colimaçon, qui peut ne pas être adapté à tous les locataires. La place de parking sur la route est appréciable, même si elle n’est pas sécurisée ; cependant, je pense sincèrement qu’il n’y a aucun risque pour la voiture.

À notre avis, Volastra n’est certainement pas le lieu le plus adéquat pour visiter les Cinque Terre et faire des randonnées. La Spezia est plus appropriée
