MiraSorrento

This was my second time staying at MiraSorrento. The place is just magical and the owners are the most wonderful and helpful people. Communication through WhatsApp and pick up and drop off so you dont have to hike up the mountain with your luggage. Francesca also arranged dinner reservations and a boat tour to amalfi and positano for us.

There is nothing to not like. The view is unbelievable, actually much more impressive than the pictures they have on booking.com. The villa is very clean with all the amenities you can think of. The hosts are great. Rosa and family is the host and Francesco and Carlo were the two gentlemen who met with us and helped with most of the things. They picked us up from the port on arrival and dropped us off at the train station for both times we needed that trip. They communicated with us on WhatsApp very timely and effectively. Every night they checked on us to see if we need anything for the next day. There are just too many thing to list, just trust me if you are lucky like us to book a stay at this place you’ll have a unforgettable experience.

To be fair, the only issue with this villa is that it’s not in the center of town. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to town, and 10 out of that 20 are some steep stairs since the villa is on a hill. However, for us the view more than compensates for this small inconvenience. Plus, the hosts would arrange free pickup if you need it. We are in relatively good shape so we just walked the two days we went to town.

The host was exceptionally Responsive and helpful. The property and gardens were stunning. The unit itself was very clean and well equipped.

The only downside if I even had one is that the access to town is a bit daunting. We knew that going in so I cannot give a bad review for that. We did hike down to town and back up at the end of each day. It was great exercise, but if you have any physical challenges, it would be difficult.
