Apartments Himmelreich

Location is OK, near the mountains. The cost to performance ratio is acceptable.

No cabinets, no extra chairs in living room (small sleeping cabinets which were broken). We had to store clothes on floor/baggages. Beds broke under a 60 kg person, showed signs of previous repair. No double beds, whoever said it is family friendly, must have thought about estranged marriages. No soap or shower gel in bathroom, toilet. No towel hangers (nails sticking out from wall). Appartment is on 2.5th floor (no lift) acceptable but would have been better to know in advance. No skiroom for skiers. TV had 10 channels, no international ones. Tee and cofee machine ok, but we usually expect some little hospitality 1-2 tea bags, starter cofee for the 1st night. "Parking space available": until it is full, so we had to park in the street (not de-iced in winter). Booking.com has an extra category for this: parking partially available.

Peaceful location, close to the nature. Big patio, trees, even a little stream in the near. Hiking spots are easily accessible by car. The rooms are spacious, equipments are good. Heating is on, if its needed, even in the summer. Our host was kind, everything was fine about the service. We could park our cars in the inner yard. There is enough space for bigger vans, too.

Not the prettiest interior, basic furnishing, but everything is the same as you can see in the pictures, no surprises. Average cleanliness, except the patio, that was quite dirty. Note for people with allergies: two of the pillows were feather pillows.

The appartment has large and comfortable rooms aranged in a very practical way. The region is fantastic with very nice trails and a lot to visit. It's also easy to reach more frequent destinations like Vienna or Stuhleck.

The insulation between floors is very poor. You can hear every step of the other tenants up stairs.
