Host communication is lovely. We arrived with kids and the house was prepared for kids. High chair provided, little stool in front of the bathroom sink, etc. I appreciated this immensely! As nobody rented the upper part of the house, we were allowed to use that part of the garden as well.
The kitchen is well equipped (no microwave - not a problem at all, but good to know)
The main bedroom bed was comfy, but the pull out couch in the living room is a bit uncomfortable. It's an old house, so you can hear every sound (eg turning on the shower is heard in the main bedroom).
If we hadn't been able to use the whole garden, I would have been a bit disappointed as there is a lounging area in the upper bit, where we stayed a lot. Without that we would have definitely not enjoyed the garden that much.
