About this house rental

Unit 35E Lot 64. For the golfer the Heartsong is conveniently located on the northern end of The Sea Ranch near The Sea Ranch Links Golf Course. This custom designed home is a 2.5 bath, 2 bedrooms plus loft home providing classic Sea Ranch comfort. Meaning the window seat in the loft invites you into a cozy corner to enjoy the ocean view or your favorite novel. The ambiance of the gas fireplace in the living room has you sitting with a glass of wine reminiscing about your days adventure. The house provides a light airy kitchen, and a reader's library of books and games. There is also a hot tub in the fully enclosed backyard to end a perfect day. One dog is welcome. Bed linens and towels are NOT provided, bring your own or rent them from Beach Rentals.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decided on this rental due to location to the golf course unaware that they have shut it down! Bluff trail access is great and views from the upstairs are good. The amenities inside the house are not great given the money spent. We’ve stayed at many homes in the sea ranch and this is the worst. Small things like hand soap at the sinks, hand towels, simple cooking items like pots that don’t have scratched up teflon, salt and pepper, maybe some coffee/tea, supplying linens....otherwise it’s fine. Don’t stay here if you like to cook or if you don’t want to bring literally everything with you.

Heartsong is one of our favorite Sea Ranch houses! The location is wonderful, decor is lovely, tons of great games, books, and puzzles, the kitchen is well appointed, and you can't beat the window seats in the loft. Being able to bring our dog with us and having a fenced yard really made it such a nice stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Sea Ranch for decades. Heartsong is one of our favorite places to stay. This time we had the 3 and 6 year old grandkids who slept upstairs while the adults enjoyed the downstairs bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and hot tub enjoyed. Since it rained we didn’t go out much but felt very comfortable and cozy. The path to the shoreline path is close and you can hear and see the ocean from the upstairs balcony or the hot tub.

The house is cozy and welcoming with a great loft/living area upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Hot tub in lovely enclosed courtyard. Near the bluff trail and Gualala Point Park. The only difficulty was watching the downstairs TV as it was mounted too high for viewing from the sofa and chairs and produced sore necks. Otherwise, a great getaway!

The house is perfect for us, clean, bright and always well maintained. And close to the trail head for long walks along the coast with our dogs Lucy & Milo. This trip we saw harbor seals, sea lions and migrating humpback whales! Make sure to check out the farmers market in Gualala on Saturday mornings for delicious local offerings. And if you’re up for a short drive the Bird Cafe in Point Arena is not to be missed! And as always, no matter when you arrive Beach Rentals makes sure that checking in and out is a breeze.

If you pine for dark and quiet nights and days full of activity, kayaking, biking, or hiking the coastal and mountain trails this is the place for you. Be sure to check out the tide pools while breathing in the fresh sea breezes too. Be prepared for a slow drive up CA1, thankfully there is lots to look at as those unfamiliar navigate our hilly and curvy costal highway.

I love the layout of the house and the proximity to the Bluff Trail as well as to shopping in Gualala. It’s wonderful to have an enclosed back yard for a toddler and our lab. The hot tub was not warm on our first night but a call to Beach Rentals (always so helpful and friendly) brought a service person fix it within a few hours- terrific. The house is clean and the kitchen stocked adequately with everything we needed. We will stay again next year hopefully when my grandson has a baby brother.

The house was in a great location for walks and bike rides (between rain drops). The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need to make you feel right at home. The house was dog friendly and had a great little fully fenced-in yard. I think everyone’s favorite spot in the house was the loft area with the window seats - great place to watch the storms coming in! Will definitely stay at Heartsong again.

There were so many things to love about it (location, layout) but, as reviews often do, they focus on the negative. The house was dusty and the toilets unclean. This was reported to the Management company when I left. IT is truly a great management company and I doubt that will be a problem in the future. The kitchen was stoceked really heap, dated cookware! The frying pans were old, scratched teflon, the pots were flimsy and there weren't many of them. It was challenging to cook. The furniture was also on the cheap - uncomfortable pillows, icky comforters, pillows. And 4 towel bars in one bathroom and only 1 towel bar in the master bath! In spite of these complaints, I would go back, probably with my own bedding and pots and pans. I haven't stayed at the north end of the property before and it had it's strengths - it's close to the golf course and gualala!

We loved the enclosed yard and the hot tub was perfectly located for star having and watching the waves. The house had many thoughtful touches and had a very well-organized kitchen and storage area/pantry set up.As other reviews have mentioned, wifi is not strong throughout the entire house, best signal was in the living room area. The TV in the main living room area is awkwardly placed, up high on the wall and at an angle and there is no option for streaming, just a standard cable package. There is a dvd player upstairs but we could not find the remote for it and had to manually control the discs on the player itself. Had the weather been better and more conducive to being outside, this would have been less of an issue, however our stay was full of rainy days and more indoor time than usual. We had a few minor repair issues at the beginning of our visit and the property manager, Sea Ranch Rentals, was very responsive and fixed the issues immediately. Always a pleasure working with them!

Spacious enough for friends and family but not too big for just the two of us. We love the proximity to the coast trails and to Gualala, check out the farmer's market on Saturdays or go hog wild on bbq from the Surf Market on the weekends. Whether we're relaxing with a glass of wine a good book upstairs in the window seat, or enjoying a soak in the hot tub after a long hike on the Stornetta Trail, Heartsong is and always will be our happy place.

The house is thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and well-stocked (although my husband pines for a gas barbecue ;-). The loft and balcony are a very pleasant bonus, great for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The fully enclosed garden is great for dogs (and humans). Lastly, Beach Rentals is always great to work with!

Home is simple, great, comfy beds and furniture and ease in cooking a treat. Great hot tub and very close to the bluff and coast trails. We didn’t use TV as only local channels and no place for music but we read and played games instead- the surf was our music and entertainment ;-).

It is extremely well taken care of, has high vibrations from the way the rooms are set up to puzzles to books to kitchen utensils. It is close to the bluff for excellent hiking and perfect location if you like safe in-the-Ranch bike riding. Best place we've stayed that is also reasonably priced. Being on the north end of SeaRanch it is close to Gualala where you will find great shops/bakery/coffee/pizza! as well as the Saturday Farmers Market

Enjoyed the small backyard and hot tub; the proximity to the bluff trail, the sound of waves crashing agains the rocks, the wildlife: deer, foxes and seals. Swam at two of the rec centers and enjoyed two nice meals in Gualala:Trinks for lunch; Gualala Hotel for dinner.Also the art center is very nice, Good vacation. You should plan: BBQ is charcoal, not gas, but worked fine for us. Hope to return.

This was our first stay at Heartsong and it worked very well for all. The home was clean and well located. It was very helpful to have a fenced yard for the young ones to play in and it provided a private setting for the spa. The beds were comfortable as were the other furnishings. The view from the loft and small deck was nice, although better had the windows been a little cleaner. All in all a wonderful find which we would recommend.

The property was clean, full of light, cozy, and yet the sleeping areas were spread out to allow for a feeling of separateness. The home has a warm, spacious feeling. The outdoor patio and garden area are very nice. My little puppy felt at home there, as well. We hope to return soon!
