The apartment was very clean, with modern furnishing. Conveniently located close to the train station. Really enjoyed my stay
The main door is a bit tricky to open but the hosts were very responsive and helpful. They sent someone over promptly to help out.

Very clean, ideal location for Whiston Hospital, Prescot Shakespeare North Theatre, Prescot Shopping, 25 minutes on the hourly local train from Whiston (6 minute walk) to Liverpool Lime Street. Fairly good local bus service. Good communication from the owner. Two bedrooms - double and a single. Good value for two or three people.
A few essentials missing, especially a shaving mirror in the bathroom, no kitchen scissors or kitchen paper. Clearer instructions on the separation of rubbish for recycling would have been useful. The lockbox was difficult (stiff) to open. A few things needed maintenance - sticking doors and a very squeaky door to the little bedroom - improved a bit with a rub of some cooking oil on the hinges. Storage in the two bedrooms very rudimentary. A bit pricey for a single person. Non-working TV was no bother for me, but might be for others.

Value for money. Spacious. Host very good communication. Lots of shops and takeaway options nearby.
Had to request towels as they were forgotten. No mirror in the bathroom.

The location is convenient, with a Tesco and other local amenities nearby, a short drive to Prescot, and within walking distance of a train station. The TV was also good, with smart features like Netflix and YouTube available.
Access to the property was very frustrating — it took around 45 minutes to get inside due to a badly jammed door, which remained difficult to use throughout the stay. The contact phone number provided was invalid, and communication with the host was poor.
Cleanliness was below expectations, with dirty fridge and cupboards, and visible dirt on the bedding. The sheets were very thin, and the pillows were uncomfortable. The freezer didn’t work, causing food to defrost.
Basic essentials were lacking — no hand soap, minimal washing-up liquid, no toilet roll on arrival (despite a promise of reimbursement that never came), and no bin liners.
A major concern was the absence of a carbon monoxide alarm, which is a basic safety requirement. Other guests also expressed similar concerns, particularly regarding safety.
