Fantastic place to relax

The property is big and it's fantastic - old stone house with three bedrooms, living room with kitchen. Outside lovely seating area under the grapes vines which give nice shadow. Swimming pool area is just wonderful - the pool is big and deep enough, water is clean (Mihael is cleaning it regularly), there is a lovely seating area around the pool and the pool bar with fridge and everything you need. Also additional toilet at the side of the bar, with washing machine - very handy. The whole surrounding is very relaxing - mountains, olive trees, fig trees - excellent. There is a garden which supplies delicious tomatoes during the season. Also plenty of space to park a car (even with shadow for most of the day). View for the lake from the top of property - few minutes walk. Mihael - the host is very friendly and polite, always available to answer and to arrive if needed. Great and very welcome on the first day, always nice talk and he provided us a delicious local olive which made by himself. As addition, there are very friendly cats on the property (regularly fed by owner), also other animals - turtles, lizards - very good experience, kids loved them.

Air conditioning would be a beneficial in all bedrooms as during the very hot days it was difficult to cool down the rooms even the stone house keeps quite nice temperature most of the time.

Exceptional

We had a very peasent stay at Etno House Wagner. Everything we needed was available on the propery, including even an ice mashine which turned to be invaluable during the heat of the day. The house itself was oldfashioned, but clean and equeped wich all possible equipment and ingridients. The best thing about the property is its pool. Its big. Its deep. And its clean. The owner provided us with lots of fruits and vegetables from the region, which was quite nice in time of corona. In general the owner was very helpful, and responded very quiqly. I hope to be able to return to one day here, since it was the best stay in Croatia so far.

I think handrails on the stairs from pool to the house would be a great improvemen, espesially for elderly people.
