We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lovor. The house, gardens and pool are gorgeous. It's all beautifully thought out and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing time. We did manage to drag ourselves away from the Villa to explore a little of the stunning coastline - found some lovely coves to swim & snorkel in the clear sea. All in all perfect! Our warm wishes and thanks to the Stula family for being such super hosts. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lovor. This exceptionally beautiful property consists of a historic house with all modern amenities, such as air conditioning and dishwasher, as well as a beautifully landscaped garden and a large pool.Daniel, his sister Milka, and their parents are very caring and loving hosts! We felt very comfortable. We highly recommend it!

We could not have been more happy with the 5 days we spent at Villa Livor - it is a unique historic property that has been converted to a fantastic vacation home with all modern conveniences. The gardens and pool are also beautiful and a relaxing place to while away an afternoon. On top of this, Danijel and his parents who own and manage the property could not be more accommodating and helpful. When you combine this with everything there is to do in the area and it makes for a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend!

A 100 year old stone home with all current amenities. Minutes from the beach and wonderful wineries. Under 2 hours you are in Dubrovnik. Perfect. Hosts are very responsive and generous. Would gladly return to this beautiful property.

We were a family of 8 and we spent a few lovely days on this property in Bacina. The house is a traditional stone cottage with spacious rooms, beautiful garden and well equiped kitchen. The pool in the beautiful garden was perfect to cool down in the evenings after we grilled fresh fish and seafood from the fishmarket. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. It was the best place! Thank you very much!

Absolutely beautiful home. We had the most amazing holiday. House was to an excellent standard with everything you could ever need. Beautiful setting and swimming pool. Danijel and his parents were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Location was perfect for our family, beautiful beaches close by and driving distance to many attractions. We enjoyed walking at Bacina lakes most days. We found local people extremely chatty and friendly. Eating out was reasonably priced with a great selection of restaurants. We definitely hope to return in the future. Thank you to Danijel and his parents for allowing us to spend time in this special home x

We had a lovely stay at Villa Lovor. The hosts, Danijel and his family were incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering lots of ideas and suggestions of activities and areas to explore and enjoy. The house was beautifully maintained and perfectly set up for families with teenage children due to the 2 apartments that are accessed separately from the main house. The pool was also perfect for our family. The central location of the property made it a perfect launching of point for exploring the Markaska Riviera and the Peljesac peninsula, which is both beautiful and unspoiled. Thank you Danijel for making us feel so welcome!

This was probably the best Croatian vacation thus far. The house is stunning and very spacious. We loved having breakfasts in the gazebo by the pool. Even in the hottest days there was always a little breeze. The AC in the house works great. The hosts were wonderful, generous and very responsive. There is so much to do and see in the area. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend this rental.

We had a great holiday in Dalmatia. The hosting family was extremely friendly and always there to help if needed. The house is extremely well equipped and the surrounding is very nice and quiet. Nearby coastline is beautiful and offers both public serviced beaches as well as lonesome small beaches to discover. The pool may not be as big as fotos suggest but it was sufficient to jump in play with the family and cool down. Cleaning of the pool was done twice a week. We had a great time in villa Lovor and we would definitely recommend. A big thank you to danijel for all his suggestions and help.

We have been renting holiday homes for years, but this is really the best equipped. In addition, an extraordinarily friendly family, who gives us a warm welcome and supplies us with delicious homemade cake, responds surprisingly quickly to any questions at any time and who obviously has a need for travelers to feel well, not only in the holiday home but also in the region. Thanks them we spent 10 unforgettable days in this area. Danijel always provided us with information about special excursion destinations. We have never experienced this in this way before. Nevertheless, you have unrestricted privacy in the house, because although it sounds different, the family is not on site. In summary, wonderfully relaxed vacation days in a sparkling clean house with tastefully designed outdoor area, "strategically" favorable location, as both the Dubrovnik region and Markaska are on the doorstep. The Bacina lakes are approx. 5 minutes drive, the sea and the small town Gradac approx. 10 minutes away by car. Many things to do: Stand up Paddling on the Bacina lakes at Ivans Paddle Surf, Nereteva kite boarding Komin Center, on the way to Neretva Delta at D8 direction Dubrovnik beautifully decorated fruit and vegetable stalls directly from the producer. Ston and Mali Sone with its long wall, oyster and salt production, beautiful Peljesac Peninsula (after Virginie direction Loviste beautiful viewing point to Korcula, 15 minutes by ferry from Orebic)). Markaska Riviera with its hidden bays, busy Markaska itself. Also Omis with rafting tour on Cetina River is just a 80 minutes drive away. Biokovo skywalk, walk on Dubrovnik’s city wall (2 hours drive). Walking directly along the sea from Gradac to Brist. Dog beach is also on this way, close to Hotel Labinecea in direction brist. Gradac is a very nice little town with really friendly and open minded people. We came as foreigners and went as friends.

Very high standard throughout, the house, pool and surroundings. Very quiet but in easy reach of the “Gradac riviera” which provides sea swimming, pleasant bars and restaurants and can be a jumping off point for boat trips. Ploce is also nearby and it is easy to access car ferries to the islands. You need to be on your toes to spot the turning into the drive (it has a sign but this is only visible when driving north). Danijel and his mother were very solicitous, meeting us on arrival and coming by later to make sure all was well. The “pool man” did a very through job looking after both the pool and it’s surroundings. The house is well furnished and equipped but we spent most of our time under the excellent gazebo by the pool. We were very happy with our stay.

The property was even better than we expected when we got there and was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The hosts were exceptional, providing us with cake and figs on arrival and even made a special birthday cake for one of our party. The hosts could not have been more helpful in respect of local attractions and knowledge and were available at all times if there were any issues. The location was perfect with only a five minute drive to either the beach or the lakes and local supermarket. The pool was enjoyed by all the family, even Granny and Grandad in their 80's. There were many seating areas around the property with plenty of shade if required and soft cushions for relaxing. The BBQ inside the room next to the pool was amazing and fully equipped. The two upstairs rooms are self contained with en suite and kitchenette units in each, accessed via their own rear staircase, which our teenagers loved. There are air-conditioning units in the property which were very appreciated as we had temperatures in excess of 40 degrees on two days. There is a shaded parking area for your car and plenty of space around the villa, both inside and out for relaxation. We cannot recommend this property enough and was one of the best we have ever had and Danijel and his Mother could not do enough to make our holiday special. Many thanks. We will be back.

We enjoyed our time at Villa Lovor which was very clean, nicely presented and well equipped. Main bathroom spacious but other 2 bathrooms are really tiny. The pool is not heated but was lovely to have. There is a small area around the pool to sunbathe. There are a number of steps around the property and so not ideal for guests with mobility issues. Danijel was a very attentive host, responding quickly to any queries we had. The homemade cake from Danijel’s mother and the mid week delivery of a huge watermelon, were both very much appreciated.

This is a beautiful house in a lovely, unspoilt area. I have never stayed in such a well equipped house, we had everything were could possibly need. Danijel and his family were so kind. We will definitely be back.

We had a perfect stay at Villa Lovor! The pool and the gardens are beautiful, the house has everything you need (towels :)!) and the contact to the owner was always prompt and very cordial! The many small bays are easy to reach by car, but there is much more to experience (ferry trips to the offshore islands, SUP on the Bacina lakes, excursions to waterfalls, historic cities like Mostar and Dubrovnik, hiking in the nature park,...). We definitely come back and thank family Štula for our great stay!

We have enjoyed a fantastic two weeks at Villa Lovor and really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful country. The welcome we received from Danijel and his parents was fantastic and a joy after the long journey. We enjoyed relaxing at the villa with it’s fantastic pool but were also perfectly located to visit Dubrovnik, Krka, Split, Korcula and Mostar. A fabulous holiday - thank you to the Stula family for making it so memorable.

We spent an excellent week at Villa Lovor, which is a beautifully renovated traditional villa in a beautiful setting. The property was ideal for us as a family of six and had all of the facilities you could hope for. We particularly loved the swimming pool and the lovely outside eating / lounging area. Also, with such hot weather, we were very relieved to have good air conditioning in the villa. The villa is in a great location to enjoy the nearby Bacina Lakes, the Makarska coast, the Nevreta Delta, and for day trips to the Pelješac Peninsula, nearby islands, Dubrovnik and to interesting places in Bosnia (esp. Krevica waterfall, Mostar and beautiful Počitelj). Danijel and his parents are excellent and attentive hosts, who make you feel very welcome.

Villa Lovor is a traditional style villa fitted out in a home from home style. Every kitchen appliance, utensil, bathroom, umberella, slippers, beach towels, books, BBQ, cushions etc etc is supplied. Two of the bedrooms are accessed independently with their own front door and staircase. It is possible to go through the main villa back door to get to the staircase. The villa is very well maintained. The gardens are planted with a variety of pretty plants. The garden has a good assortment of outdoor seating. The villa itself was very clean.We had a lovely holiday visiting all the recommended places. The Bacina lakes are a real pleasure and we all enjoyed kayaking around the lake. The lakes are also a good place for an early morning jogs and afternoon swim. Actually they are beautiful.Danijel and his parents are superb hosts. They were very responsive and attentive.It was comforting to know that if a problem had occurred they would be at the villa immediately to sort it out. Our family had a lovely holiday in this accommodation and would highly recommend it. We were a family of 6 adults. I would say the villa isn’t suitable for a family with younger children. There are a lot of stairs with open bits. The pool has no shallow paddling area.It is necessary to have a car in this villa. The nearest restaurant is a short drive away but on a main road. ( this restaurant is very very good and not too expensive). We ate out in Gradac twice and the next village along another night. The villages on the coast are lively with a good choice of restaurant. The villages are traditional and unspoilt. Thank you Danijel and your parents. We had a great holiday

Loved our stay at Villa Lovor! Spent a great week there relaxing with the family in June of 2018. The house is lovely and equipped with everything you need to do your own cooking. The grounds surrounding the house are full of trees that provide plenty of shade from the hot sun, but still allow for the pool area to get nice a warm. The bedrooms are large and everything is very clean. Beaches are a 10 minute drive from the house and there are plenty of restaurants/grocery stores nearby. The internet is fast and reliable. Daniel and his family and lovely people and very responsive if you have a question. We'll be back!
