Set on a hill with lovely views and a great staff, this is a great launch point for the national park. It’s clean, well-appointed, and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

The location of this place and the view from our room were breathtaking (see photo). The staff - and especially Gonzalo - went out of their way to help us and to recommend activities in the area. The spa is the ideal place to relax after a day spent walking in the nearby Peneda-Geres National Park.
First world problems, really... for example, there was nowhere to dry our swimsuits after a bath, or to hang robes/towels in the room.
