Delicious dinner and breakfast. Specially recommend local sake tasting set! Nice river view. All staff are warm and keen to help though I can only speak a little japanese.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful traditional ryokan. The hosts were very welcoming and we were very grateful for the pick up at the end of our shin-etsu trail hike and drop off to the nearby train station the following day. Very clean and peaceful and our room, right along the Chikuma river, was special. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast was delicious too.
