What is there not to like.. your in a castle. Everything was wonderful including the staff. Rose was amazing!!

Beautiful large room with lovely bathroom and a really comfortable bed.
We were given an upgraded room which was very nice.
Christina who met us when we arrived was lovely and so helpful.
Didn’t realise that there were no staff at the property after you had checked in. I am sure if we had a problem we could have rung the contact number but just didn’t think it was made clear in the information or at the time of booking.
The room was not replenished daily with tea, coffee etc probably because it is self catering but for our 2 night stay there was not enough left for us, the shower is absolutely lovely but unfortunately slightly on the cooler side on the second day.
Otherwise it was a great stay and we would stay there again regardless of the slight criticism.

Simon brought us the keys. He showed us around the castle and our apartment
that we only stayed for 2 nights

Location was lovely in the castle and we enjoyed walking in the grounds.
Small room with minimal furniture. No chair or desk. Poor lighting.
We had 2 rooms and in one, the sink was outside the bathroom with no light.
We were warned about stair access but the stairs were not
No breakfast and the onsite cafe doesn’t open till 10 am.
No WIFI offered.
