Wonderful place in lovely Maria Alm, very close to the pistes of the Hochkönig skiing area.

Maria Alm is a lovely little village and a wonderful location to go skiing in the beautiful Hochkönig area. The apartment is very close to one of the pistes in Maria Alm, an ideal location. The apartment was great, on the first floor with beautiful views of the mountains and pistes - and a huge balcony looking south. Two big bedrooms, each with toilet and shower, the third bedroom is smaller but convenient and using the big bathroom with toilet and shower. If you are a group of seven, the sitting / dining room might feel a little small, but all in all we had a wonderful time - and Marion is very kind and supportive. Thanks!

The perfect place to stay in Maria Alm

Our stay at Almkönig was really exceptional. The apartment that we had was on the 2nd floor and it was ideal for the stay that we had booked. It was very clean, spacious and very tidy. The apartment had all the little utilities that we needed and it is very much perfectly located within walking distance from everything we had planned. Marion, our host.............was also simply amazing. She was friendly and so very helpful all the time. She went way above and beyond to help us book Tennis Courts, which she did without any discussion whatsoever. She truly contributed enormously to our entire 4 days stay being so very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to everyone.

If I were to complain about anything, it is that there is a Children's hotel next to Almkönig, and if you are a long sleeper, then be aware that in the holidays, there are a few children running around next door.

Minor items that would have been ‘nice to have’ but did not in any way detract from our stay: microwave; extra pillows for the bed.

Excellent apartment for a short and longer stays

The host Marion was very welcoming, attentive and helpful due our stay. The view from our apartment and balcony was great. Apartment is located in the top floor, right side of the house when looking towards the street. Especially as it is the furthest from the restaurant with kids playground right next to the apartment building. The apartment is comfortable and well furnished. We would come back.

The kids playground to the left as well as to the right of the house can be loud (depending on the kids/parents) but most of the times did not bother us too much. Kitchen could be larger with more cupboards.

there is a job and small worktop free standing oven which would be very inefficient for cooking for a large party. some like a combo oven/grill/microwave unit would have served us better

The location was great. The host was very warm and responsive. The balcony and quiet street were very nice.

The bed seemed to be in a slight downward angle toward your head. Kept me from sleeping well.

Wir werden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen, und bei Gelegenheit selbst wieder buchen.

Es sind einerseits nur 100m bis zum Schilift, andererseits nicht viel mehr als 200 m ins Zentrum. Im Quartier gibt es einen schönen Saunabereich.

Super lieber Empfang durch Marion! Tolle Ferienwohnung, extrem sauber, alles vorhanden was man braucht in der Küche. Tolle Lage, genügend Parkfläche.

Im Bad fehlt ein Duschvorhang, das Wasser fließt aus der Dusche. Das ist aber schon der einzige Mangel

Schönes, sauberes Appartement! Grosser Parkplatz mit super netter und freundlicher Leitung! Leckeres Essen in einem urigen Restaurant um die Ecke! Toller Blick und super Gesamtpaket im Almkönig! Wir werden wieder kommen!!

Die Matratzen waren für unsere Rücken zu weich, jedoch waren Matratzen-Topper verfügbar die wir nicht benutzt haben.

De natuur in de omgeving

Er was zeer veel lawaai van de naast gelegen speelplaats van Hotel Tante Frida. Een druk groot speelparadijs recht achter dit hotel. De kinderen speelden van ‘s ochtends vroeg tot zeker 23h buiten met veel gegil en lawaai van skelters. Het was warm in de kamer, geen airco, en ramen moesten dus open blijven. Hond bijgeboekt, bij aankomst bleek hond toch niet welkom. Onduidelijke in de communicatie. Uiteindelijk gelukkig toch toegelaten. Personeel vriendelijk en zoekend naar een oplossing. Echter €44 voor 2 nachten voor de hond, erg duur. Geen lift aanwezig dus de hond zoveel trappen opgetild.

Tolle Inhaberin, die für die Gäste super ansprechbar und erreichbar ist. Gute Lage der Unterkunft. Sehr sauber, toller Saunabereich für Entspannung und Erholung. In der Nähe alles für das tägliche Leben erreichbar: Bäckerein, Einkaufsmärkte, Apotheke, Banken etc.
