Pleasant, but a bit pricey

The location was great -10 min walk to subway, 20min to Playa de Arenas and 5 min to a nearby cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment kitchen was well equipped with juice squeezer, blender, toaster, saucepans, plates, glasses etc which was great. We were also offered a free- of- charge cleaning service and we were freed from the deposit fee when the payment portal didn't work. Overall, the apartment was okay for a few days stay, but if we were to plan longer holidays we would think twice due to not so affordable price-quality ratio.

The apartment was different than presented in the pictures at the moment of booking. The toilet in the bathroom was situated next to shower with limited space to sit comfortably. All windows in the apartment were going out to the interior patio, so there was little light in the room. Since the walls are thin, we could hear neighbors all the time. The kettle was tripping the circuit breaker, and the aircon had an unpleasant smell, and the aircon pipe was falling off.

Superb

The appartment is located near to beach, has a modern and unique design, which we really liked. Maritim metro station is in walking distance, as well as the modern/futuristic buildings of the Opera/Museum and Oceanographic. Closest grocery and vegetable shop is only 100-150 m distance. This largest one (in that building) has 2 rooms with double beds, 1 room with single bed and a salon with kitchen where 2-3 people (especially kids) can sleep. 2 bathrooms (one is quite small, for big people not that convenient), one room with a secondary sink and place for drying the clothes. 2* air-conditioning, very good, 1* washing machine (we have not used it), oven (worked OK) and the plate for frying/cooking (worked OK). Kitchen is very well equiped, we really liked it. Our one week was really fine here, I really recommend this place; for this price it is very good choice!

A few things still to improve possibly, which I also mentioned upon checkout: somehow the timer they installed for the fridge worked not well, which sometimes caused the fridge stop working for a period of time, this was not OK. There would be good to have not only one equipment for drying the clothes, but two (for this amount of people, 5-7, one is just too less). There were 2 stand-fans as well, which were also good, but quite used ones, not operatef that well and quiet, so, would be better to replace them. Walls are probably quite narrow, sometimes you can really hear the neighbours, if they are louder, but this is general in Spain, I guess.

Disgusting clogged shower and ants. Booking.com didn’t help at all.

The location was good and the property was ok. The person who greeted us was nice and on time.

There was an ANTS INFESTATION and the SHOWER WAS CLOGGED. It was so disgusting to shower there, the water would not go down the drain and would accumulate up to my ankles. I cannot believe they clearly didn’t clean the apartment prior to our stay. We tried to get a refund on booking, the customer service is terrible and said that it wasn’t the responsibility of Booking.com it was the property’s? We even provided photos and videos

The apartment is very close to marina and beach. Our stay was very pleasant and we would highly recommend this host and professionalism in providing the service

Appartment could be ok and value for money, but cleanliness spoiled everything

Very dirty sofa and chair, I couldn’t seat there and had to cover them with sheets and towels. I really don’t understand why host cannot clean or change them. It was really disgusting. Also there are ants in the apartment, and I even saw a cockroach.

Okay, given the price! From airport to accommocation in 36 min by metro plus 10 min walk!

We arrived very late at only 23,30 hrs after a 3+ hours delay at the airport. Therefore we had to send a (text.mail/whatsapp) message to the hosts (flats4you). I was a bit worried that the message would not reach them in time or not at all. But was positively surprised to see that a response message was received very quickly via all 3 communication channels I used. Upon arriving at Valencia airport there even was a kind reminder to get in contact about the hand over of the keys etc, We indicated that we arrived by metro (and had to walk for 10 min at least and gave our approx. arrival time. The hosts' representative Marta was waiting for us with the keys and showd us where everything was etc. We knew in advance that an extra fee of €40 was invoiced because of the late arrival (after 20 hrs). Flats4ýou has an office on Calle de Reina, 37 where you can rent a bike for your stay. It is a 10-15 min walk from the appartment building. On the day of your departure you can leave your luggage at that office and enjoy the rest of your day after checking out at 12 hrs. The staff is all very friendly, we have been in contact with Marta mostly, very kind person, speaks very well English. The bikes are 'okay' but a litte bit old (tape around the lights, heavy cycling etc)'. As guests of Flats4you you have a discount on the bike rental. (€8 per day normal rate/ €6 is what we paid per day). We had a bike tour on our first day in Valencia and those bikes were better and easier to ride. Also there is a washing machine, microwave, water cooker, fridge available. as well as a hair dryer in the bathroom. Handsoap and shampoo available too. The toilet was (as indicated by others in the reviews) placed somewhat tight, you could only sit on it sideways the the top was attached sideways too... 2 rolls of toilet paper/5 towels inc. Decoration as in pictures. black metal, white walls, white curtains.

Although we knew in advance (given the pictures and the experiences from others) that the studio would be rather small and the view would be nothing less than a brick wall, it was worse than we thought it would be. There are a lot of windows allowing the daylight to come in (in bedroom on both sides, in kitchen 3 windows) but still it feels silly to sit at a small kitchen table next to eachother, having a coffee, on a small stool with the window open looking at a white painted brick wall with airco units full of pigeon shit ;-). But then again, we booked the studio as a place to sleep and shower and were out and about all day.

Pleasant

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful! The room was bright despite having NO view. The kitchen was good and modern. It is a good option for 2-3 days if you are not sure, what part of the city you want to visit.

When I chose the hotel, it looked on the map like the sea was closer. The soundproofing is awful. We woke up during the night because of a crying baby somewhere in the building and woke up in the morning because of his father whistling a song. We knew exactly the time when our neighbours came back from a nightclub.

Location was great for getting around the city and beach. Staff were great and got us a pillow as sokn as we requested. Check in was seamless.

Kitchen was lacking a few essentials, chopping board, knife, salt, oil etc. Impossible to sit on the toilet straight as is so close to the shower cubicle. All the flats are around an internal courtyard so, if anyone has their window open, the noise really carries and it is quite loud.

great to have a terrace and aircon was gratefully received! location wasn’t amazing but near several supermarkets and good transport routes and we could walk to the beach in 20 mins. beds were comfortable and space big enough for four adults and 2 babies!

A comfortable place with a really nice location.

A very complete and easy-to-go check-in and check-out process. The location is very convenient for the beach, supermarkets and public transportation. There is a 24 hours parking garage 5 minutes from there.

Based on the pictures I was expecting a bigger living room. The cleanliness of the bathroom could be better. Should be nice to include at least 4 toilet paper rolls (only received 2). Even that we were 3 we only received 2 towels and a small towel for the floor. Should be nice to include at least 2 more trash bags (only received 1). It was difficult to find a parking place on the street close-by during the night.

Very comfortable place, lovely location with a lot in walking distance! It provided a nice hub to come back to each evening, but also was great for relaxing in on the nights we chose not to go out! The staff were exceptional and even allowed us to check in early after we arrived a little sooner than expected!
