The location was great, the room was comfortable and clean, and had ac, a mini fridge, storage space and a good shower. For the convenience of the location it wasn’t loud either!

I wish check-in could’ve been more clear or easier as we had to go to another building and then all the way back to ours.

Enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was nice. Hostel was in a quiet area with a short 20 minute walk to the beach.

Rooms were very small and basic with no balcony. Price was a lot dearer than hotels in the centre of Alicante that were bigger, had balconies and more central to everything. Shop and restaurants were a bit of a walk away.

Well…Very small rooms the hotel seems to have been converted from apartments into guest rooms. The doors are very close to each other, the walls are thin, and there was a leaking boiler in the bathroom. Our door lock got stuck, but a very kind lady from the reception helped us fix it. Breakfasts are very small and served à la carte instead of buffet-style, which is a big disadvantage. As a woman I was still hungry afterwards, so I imagine a man would need a few portions to feel full. After 8pm there is no staff at the bar, so it’s not possible to get a drink. There was also no coffee, tea, or bottled water provided in the room. The staff don’t speak English, but that seems to be quite common in Spain. 🇪🇸 On the plus side, despite the language barrier, the staff were friendly. The lady at reception kindly allowed us to stay an extra hour, as we didn’t manage to return from Madrid in time for check-out. However, there are still many things that need improvement to make the price match the overall quality.
