Villa Amma Erna - Galle

We loved the villa on a little hill with a beautiful view. Amazing accommodation with lovely, sweet staff. They make the breakfast, it was amazing. The whole constructie of the villa was all beautiful to see.

Was a little bit too much animal sounds during the night for us. It’s amazing but a little bit too noisy.

This was the most amazing experience. The staff were incredible and the food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. We received a really warm welcome and an espresso on arrival. The villa is in the most perfect hillside spot and we watched monkeys in the trees before brunch. The breakfast is incredible- really imaginative half Sri lankan half western dishes with so much fresh food and flavour. The chef is incredible so we did a cookery class with her which was amazing. The spa treatments were unreal. I had the best massage I've ever had. The manager was so friendly and kind and just really wanted to help us enjoy our stay. There's no Aircon but the room is so cool because of the fans and the outside breeze that it really did not matter. There's also no alcohol but the staff helped us get a tuktuk for very little money to a liquor store for wine. We really felt so at home there. It's a very 'help yourself/make yourself at home' vibe that you feel from the moment you enter the property.

Nothing. Everything was absolutely incredible.

We have traveled a lot around the world, but this place was like a fairytale. If you like nature (birds, squirrels, monkeys), a clean room (with bath), and most important: the feeling like your home, you should go to this place. There are a few rooms, so it feels like you have a whole villa for yourself and the staff is always ready to help you!

Breakfast and Wolly. Also the locals working there are the most sweetest individuals and very helpful.

The location- way inside from the main road. difficult to find the property. AC - no AC in the room. Fan is there but not sufficient given the hot weather. An air cooler is preferable No windows- the outside noise is very loud given no windows and the net covering the room is dirty thereby disrupting the view. Peacocks n other animals are too loud and disturbing. WIFI was weak and most of the times didnt connect. No shataf in the toilet. Bathroom is open concept.
