Villa SPACE

What an incredible place! This is easily the best accommodation in Unawatuna. We initially booked four nights but loved it so much that we ended up staying for the whole week. The villa is beautifully designed, with a spacious lobby, lush tropical gardens, a large swimming pool, and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The beach is only a short walk away and, thanks to its sheltered bay and calm waters, you can swim there all year round. The climb back to the villa is easy, even for someone like me who is not sporty at all! A tuk-tuk service is also available to take you anywhere in Unawatuna or to Galle Fort. We especially loved having breakfast with views of the palm trees and the sound of the waves. The food was excellent, so we ate at the villa most of the time and highly recommend it. Julia and her team were amazing. They were so warm and helpful that we felt as though we were staying with good friends. We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return!

The property was clean, comfortable, well equipped and perfect for our needs.

I can’t think of anything not to like

This place is divine. So beautiful in every way. The decor is stunning and the food delicious. Dishan served us in the bar and restaurant and is the perfect host. He really made the place; pure Sri Lankan hospitality.

The only think I didn’t like was the fact that they didn’t extend the hospitable welcome drink to our driver/guide. Most hotels recognise how important the guides are and include them in the niceties. We felt sad that he wasn’t offered a coconut.
