The hot water did not work during the day around 2 p.m until 5-6 p.m The laundry was not changed at 2 days as it was said The room smelled like cigarettes when we arrived Also the other rooms were very noisy and you can hear the water from the other rooms every night.

The staff is really great. They are so kind and they welcomed us and gave us lots of useful information. We also discovered that they provide many more perks than what we had actually read when we booked our stay here. For example, they give you a three euro discount for the day entrance to the thermal park Negombo, which is not very much, but still is a very kind gesture. And they also provide guests with free access to the pools in the hotel that is right in front of this one, and also the possibility to have breakfast at that hotel for seven euro each. The place is nice, the terrace is beautiful and overlooks the sea. The Wi‑Fi was very good. Simply a very pleasant place to spend the weekend!

The hotel is located on a very steep uphill, so access may be something to consider for those who have reduced mobility, like pregnant women or people with some injuries or elderly, etc. The breakfast buffet for seven euro each perhaps could be improved with a little care (for instance, they could offer some fruit or a toaster or some basic fresh veggies like tomatoes), and maybe for that price there are much better options downtown (even on the same downhill from the hotel there is a local coffee place, Bar Lucciola, that has great croissants and pastries and good coffee).

terrazzo in foto è abbandonato, luci lampeggianti perché si stanno fulminando, tavoli in ferro arrugginiti e rotti, salottini e poltrone in rattan bucati nella seduta e consumati, sedie sporche e inutilizzabili. le camere sono piccole, il televisore in camera appoggiato sul tavolo che era visibile solo ad una persona e all’altra no, il frigorifero rinfrescava ma non congelava nella parte freezer, struttura praticamente lasciata andare, della serie finché dura fa verdura, un giorno non hanno nemmeno pulito le camere e per farsi perdonare ci hanno regalato una bottiglia di acqua in 2. se aprivi le ante dell’armadio non passavi più. finestra che affaccia su un balcone chiuso. praticamente esperienza da non ripetere. personale gentile e accogliente ma non sufficiente a giustificare il prezzo pagato per la camera, strada scomoda per arrivare per fortuna che siamo andati in moto perché con la macchina in prossimità dell’albergo non c’è il parcheggio, bisogna lasciare la macchina all’inizio della strada per poi affrontare una salita niente male, pericolosa e stretta dove le navette dell’altro albergo sfrecciano tutto il giorno.
