Staff were lovely, place was reasonably clean and the showers had hot water. Cooking facilities are good. Location is amazing! We have stayed in Barcelona a few times but this was by far the best place in terms of location that we have stayed
We stayed in an all female dorm, but the door was broken and could be accessed at any time by anyone. Many of the utensils in the kitchen were dirty.

The location was close to the metro station.
Some shelves in the room could have been helpful. The hair dryer in the female toilet didn’t work. The shower rooms had no racks or hooks to hang the clothes.

The curtain, lights in the bed area were good
That there was only 3 showers for the whole hostel/for each gender bathroom. Could at least add another pump of soap for the sinks to have 1 in between 2 taps. And maybe either a hand dryer or paper towels instead of just 1 hand towel to dry hands as sometimes it falls off the hook then becomes dirty. Also, the hooks for towels, could use an actual hook as Nothing will stay on it as it is essentially a metal knob where everything slides off it and towel will fall to the ground and get wet/dirty. 3m hooks shouldn’t cost too much.Don’t know if it had air conditioning either, so in the proper summer, you would be good for dead in their heat.
