La Villa des Remparts

Lovely garden. Great to be so close to the lovely main square and restaurants.

The breakfast was disappointing, with a number of items that were past their best, such as over ripe fruit and pots of jams that were a bit congealed and unattractive. It was rather eccentric, with a live piano accompaniment to breakfast and the clutter of objects and furniture. Impossible to keep the place dusted and clean with thousands of objects in it.

A wonderful place to stay. In a tiny village in the Armagnac region. The accommodation is wonderfully eccentric and Bertie is a brilliant host with n adorable dog and two very friendly cats. The breakfast is probably the best French breakfast I have ever had.

Central location . Host was friendly & polite

Had requested dinner, had been told prior to arrival no need to book but after travelling for 9 hours we arrived to be told not serving dinner as festival of music was on in the square and we could eat at 3 different places. When we went the only place that could accommodate us was a crepe restaurant. So after travelling all day we had a crepe & a bowl of ice cream. No pool to talk about just a dirty unusable pool & area - nothing like the pictures on the site. The musty smell was still in my nostrils the next day & it’s like sleeping in an antique shop with clutter everywhere.
