La Vecchia Sassa

Klidná lokalita, úžasné výhledy do krajiny. Areál s velmi pěkně udržovanou zahradou. Měli jsme pronajatý samostatný domek, parkování přímo u domku, příjemná teráska před domem , kuchyň je vybavena vším potřebným, interiér je útulný.

Výpadek wi-fi, která je potřebná vzhledem ke slabému signálu telefonního operátora v místě, ale bylo to během jednoho dne opraveno, takže ok.

Five nights are definitely not enough. Had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was great . The apartment were clean and comfortable .The atmosphere was so relaxing. A special thank you to Cinzia the hotel owner for the warm hospitality and personal attention that made me feel so special . Your kindness and care made my experience so memorable.I would gladly return again and highly recommend this place. ❤️

Everything was perfect

At first we booked 2 weeks at La Vecchia Sassa, and we decided to book 1 more week. So we stayed there for 3 weeks in total and describes well how much we loved the place. The views were insanely beautiful, the hosts were so warm and friendly and their dog Mia was super cute! And I loved the location - it was in a small village Iano and small shop and our favourite restaurant (Antico Borgo - you have to try their truffle tagliolini!) were in 2-3min walk distance. If you are travelling with kids (we had 2-year old with us), then a small playground is in the village (near church) and another playground was in around 10-min walk distance in another direction (near restaurant named “Nonna Bianca”. We went for a dinner there too several times and visited the playground almost everyday. And please ask for market days information from the host! We got soooo good Italian fresh stuff from the market days (best oranges, tomatoes, cheese and other products from local farmers). The market days are from Monday to Saturday and in different cities each day. Our favourite one was market day on Saturday in Castelfiorentino city. 3 weeks was enough time to enjoy it all - pool days at La Vecchia Sassa and visiting cities and wineyards in Tuscany. We will definitely come back! Thank you so much!

The pool and the facilties were super nice. The view is extraordinary. It is a very quit place where you could nicely relax if you have good and sunny weather.

Without notice there was an extra charge for the baby crib (10€/night). Hot water was turned off 30 minutes before checkout. Appartements were very dark and cold during the night (late September). You could have heated with the air conditioning all night, but that would mean to keep it running all the time. The bed broke in the middle of the night, which did not seem to be a new issue, as a pillar was missing to keep the bed stable in the middle. There were no apologies, the fix was to open up the2nd bedroom, with two single beds.
