Podere Calcinaia

We LOVED Podere Calcinaia. It's a classical Tuscanian podere in a stunning green location, in the middle of wineyards and olive trees. The hosts are two super nice sisters and their partners, who made us feel super welcome. The room was spacious and we had access to a very large kitchen with all you need for a few days, shared with other rooms. Very good cleanliness, availability of the hosts and great location in the middle of nature. They also have some lovely animals in the Podere - 2 dogs, a cat and 3 goats that we saw. Very big plus: super queer friendly <3 Could not recommend it enough!

The road to reach Podere Calcinaia was a bit "rocky" if you are not used to countryside roads/have a low chassis car. BUT the hosts offered to pick us up every single day so we would avoid driving in that road. 10/10 service :)

L'atmosfera e i ragazzi che gestiscono la struttura. Letti comodi. Bagno piccolo ma comodo e con finestra. Te e caffè a disposizione degli ospiti nella cucina comune.

La strada per arrivare non molto agevole ma lo sapevamo. Camere un po' calde.

Tout !!! L’endroit éloigné de tout, au milieu des cyprès, la magnifique maison en pierre, la vue de la chambre et la gentillesse de nos hôtes pour venir nous chercher, nous préparer le petit déjeuner et nous donner des infos sur le coin (où se baigner et où manger une délicieuse pizza) !

Posto difficile da raggiungere strada stretta con buche ed in salita, ambienti freddi la notte e servizi scarsi , esterni impraticabili e pieni di cose vecchie e rotte, quando arrivi ti sembra un casolare abbandonato e diroccato
