The location is great. Close to the Castle but also close to the Roman campus of Poetovio. If you come to Ptuj for the Roman games, this is a great location to stay. It's also dog friendly and the breakfast is great. We were there during the summer so all vegetables and fruits were homegrown and extremely tasty. They also have home made milk, cottage cheese ... The stuff is super helful and kind.

The breakfast was good. A lot of the food was local or grown at the location and the dog was so sweet.The cat was also sweet and both knew not to come into the guest quarters or areas. It had an amazing view overlooking the city and was walkable to town.
There's no air conditioning, but I survived as i'm from arizona.

Very special place to stay. Lovely garden setting with views to the castle. Friendly, helpful owners. Delicious unique home/farm-made everything breakfast. Jams, cheeses, butter, fruits, milk etc. Both evenings we bought a picnic and ate it in the garden rather than eating out. Free outdoor pilates class in the morning we were there.

Beautifully located on a hill overlooking the town. 10 min walk into the town for a restaurant visit. The gardens were vast and you could buy beer & wine and find a picnic table that were scattered around the garden.
