Elements Beach & Nature Resort

Staff were just lovely. Great location and vibe.

Wasn’t expecting no air con (eco resorts in UAE still have it!!) but managed to get used to just fans and the constant sea breeze helped a lot!

Beautiful setting,very friendly staff, good choice of sport rental equipment. Very nice atmosphere.

It was very windy, and due that the houses are an "open" setting, it felt like being blown away in your bed. Some food options were not available,which is understandable, but please do let the people in advance. Wifi for our room wasn't working.

Elements is truly a slice of paradise, the teams kindness and ease is truly what makes this place so special. We couldn’t recommend it more, whether you are looking to Kite surf or relax they have it all.

The "chalets" are open to the outside, so anyone can jump in. There is no AC or hot water (no hot water is fine during the heat of the day, but it can be a bit chilly if you shower later in the evening). The heat is unbearable during the day and in the evening, with no place to get away from the heat, flies and mosquitoes. Even though the chalets are open to the outside, not enough air comes in and they are very stuffy, dark and hot ! Water leaked through the ceiling and into our bed during a downpour. It can be very noisy at night (donkeys calling, muezzin singing from the nearby mosque, fireworks, singing etc.). The staircase leading to the bedroom is quite steep (not suitable for older or less fit people). The food is bland compared to other places in Sri Lanka (very western oriented). I love sleeping in nature, but when I pay this amount of money for a 4 star resort, I expect to have a certain amount of security, comfort, and air conditioning. The place is much more expensive than others in the area. Overall, it's just not worth it.
