Overall fine.

It was a spacious room. Nothing too fancy but enough to stay for a few nights.

We had very thin blankets and nothing extra to make it more warm while the outside temperature was 15 degrees and the windows were open when we came in.

Decent accommodation close to Basel.

Good budget-friendly place to stay near Basel. Quiet surroundings, nice room, modern bathroom, just a 15 min train ride from Basel central station or a 40 minute bus+tram ride.

Wifi didn't work properly. We also didn't meet a single staff member during our 1 night stay, which is fine but leaves the experience a bit anonymus.

A pleasant stay

Close to the border if you cannot afford the price in Switzerland. The breakfast is simple but pleasant. It's an old house but the interior is very comfortable. Single traveler friendly! The single room is well equipped even with a ventilator for the summer. 2 mins walking from the train station where you can reach Basel in just a few minutes.

easy access, and the free parking at the property is perfect for travelers. The option of dining at the gasthaus is also good. The rooms were clean and well equipped.

the pillows were not comfortable and the duvet a bit too warm for the nights that are not yet cool at the height of summer. The fan was a big help though.

Nice clean room. Very modern and comfortable. Fully equipped with blow-dryer, TV, beverages, safe and electric kettle. Breakfast was very good. Not a Buffet, it was a served breakfast. Very rich and nothing to complain.

the rooms were newly decorated, excellent bedding, all very clean. The breakfast was modest but sufficient. The property was close tothe place we wanted to visit (Fondation Beyerle) and the included public transport ticket very helpful

Die Unterbringung war durchschnittlich, sauber… Normal eben. Wir hatten es gebucht wegen der Nähe zur Fondation Beyeler, wo wir eine Ausstellung sehen wollten. Und wegen der excellenten Küche. Nicht nur dir Speisen waren außergewöhnlich gut, auch der Service im Lokal ist wirklich Spitze!

Un hôtel agréable proche de la frontière, idéal après une visite à la fondation Beyeler.

L'accès à l'hôtel se fait en totale autonomie par la porte de service. La chambre est spacieuse, propre, elle comporte des rangements très pratiques. L'hôtel est globalement calme. Le centre-ville est proche et très sympa (et piéton). Conforme à la description et aux services mentionnés (excepté télé).

L'hôtel étant situé au dessus du restaurant, les odeurs de repas se propagent dans les étages. La salle de bains était peu pratique, impossible d'ouvrir les portes en verre de la douche d'un côté ou de l'autre sans risquer de les cogner. La télé ne présente aucun abonnement, il faut avoir le sien – ou nous n'avons pas trouvé d'information dans le livret d'accueil.

Ruhig und gemütlich

Zentral gelegen, zu Fuss ist man in 5 Minuten im Zentrum. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Mineralwasser und Teekocher mit Zubehör haben wir gerne genutzt. Wir waren dank Schlüsselsafe sehr flexibel in der An- und Abreise. Die Möglichkeit direkt vor dem Hotel zu parken haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Schade gab es kein Frühstück im Hotel. Die empfohlene Bäckerei im Einkaufszentrum war zwar geöffnet am Sonntag, jedoch gab es keine Sitzgelegenheiten.

Er werd onverwacht geen ontbijt geserveerd. We kregen het adres van een bakker. Incheck via code was onpersoonlijk. We hadden niet het idee dat er iemand aanwezig was die zorg droeg over de accommodatie.
