L'Alya Ninh Van Bay

It is an absolutely amazing stay away. The hotel, the staff, the service, the food and location exceed our expectations! You stay in the jungle in a very isolated hotel stretching in its own bay and completely detached from the city life. And, surprisingly, the hotel territory is quite big, the have garden, lagoon, forest etc We saw a lot of jungle life including quite rare species of monkeys

We did not stay in beach front villas, but looks like they don’t have a private beach, they face the rocky shore.

Our butler, Vũ, truly made our stay special. He was always so attentive and kind, and the way he communicated with us made everything feel easy and comfortable. We genuinely felt taken care of because of him. We also want to thank the F&B team—especially Thuỷ and Như—who were always so friendly and welcoming. Their smiles and kindness made every meal even more enjoyable. Mr. Cong helped us arrange a wonderful snorkeling trip, and you could really feel how passionate he is about what he does. That made the experience even more memorable for us. And of course, shout out to the Front Office Manager (Phuong Anh) and the entire team. The team has made our trip unforgettable, and we’ll be taking these beautiful memories home with us.

Great food. Nice selection of local draft beers (not just the usual bland yellow fizzy cans of garbage).. Staff were friendly and helpful. The whole resort was quiet except for the fishing boats at night but that was okay.. Late checkout and organizing transport to the airport was hassle free.

Not much. The fishing boats were noticeable at night but it was okay. People with mobility issues should take care, as there are steps and stairs to negotiate.

- very beautiful location - solid service, even though some lack English proficiency - the hill top hut was very nice and the private pool is a great feature - breakfast was overall good

- besides the breakfast the food & kitchen was poor. The "local food" was mostly tasteless, uninspired and poorly crafted. - literally every street food option would be better and at least 10 times cheaper. Simple dishes that are 1$ in HCMC are 10$ here and worse. - during our stay (keep in mind, we could only ate what they served and did not leave the premise) we had severe food poisoning and we're unable to leave our room for a full day. The hotel staff insisted that it could not be the kitchen and it was "just the weather". We travel a lot, we know what food poisoning is. This inability to admit mistakes and make them right impacted the overall experience and was a strong contrast to the otherwise exceptional service.
