The lady from the reception was really nice, the whole building was really authentic and pleasant, the comfort and cleanliness were perfect, also very warm and no humidity. We had a shuttle at 4 in the morning which included early breakfast, which was really thoughtful and well organized. Thank you very much for everything and we recommend this hotel!

Quiet, comfortable stay with an amazing breakfast!

This is a super cute hotel, very charming! It’s older, but has so much personality. Very comfortable, we were there New Year’s Eve and it was quiet (but busy). I bring a noise machine whenever I travel but the property is spread out, so it was perfect. If you want a comfortable stay without overpaying, this is your place.

How close it was to Venice Airport (not walkable you need to take a shuttle or public transportation) and 35 min to Venice by public transportation which has a service every 12 minutes or so

Great place to stay!

The airport is very close—you can practically walk there. Venice is only 20 minutes away by bus. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choices.

Superb Airport Hotel to relax

The location to the airport was ideal for a 6.30am flight out. We got the local bus service from Venice to the top of the road and walked a short distance to the hotel. The hotel is in a peaceful setting. The staff were very helpful and booked us a transfer taxi to the airport for 4.30am (paid the hotel directly) and pastries, coffee/tea and orange juice was available before we were collected. The family room for 4 was a good size with a modern bathroom and shower. We were shown the pool and sauna and enjoyed the use of the facilities. We were booked into a nearby restaurant for an evening meal and a driver took us there and collected us after we had finished our meal. The restaurant was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed the last day of our holidays before heading to the airport. We would definitely recommend it and stay again if we were going to Venice.

Badly signposted. It took longer to find the entrance than getting there from airport. Bar was shut and even though the reception was manned, there was no possibility to order a drink. Breakfast was average.

Disappointed - shouldn't call themselves an airport hotel

The room was tidy and the bathroom was nice.

I'm afraid that an airport hotel that can't make arrangements for you to get to the airport is simply no good. We were told that there was no space even 2 hours either side of our intended departure. We were expected to feel sympathetic because "there are 100 rooms" - I'm afraid that means you need to buy a bigger bus then!

Great family run business well done

Great location right next to the Marco Polo airport, they arranged the pick up from the airport and drop off at 5 am the next morning. The service we got there was very good and felt really welcome, they shuttle us to their near by restaurant for dinner which was excellent and very affordable. The room we stayed in was very good and we got to relax around their pool and bar after a hectic 3 days in Venice.

Convenient access to airport + free parking. Safe and clean. WiFi reaches rooms.

Very uncomfortable beds (could feel every spring), old/uncomfortable pillows, and only 1 sheet on the bed to use as a blanket (no comforter or blankets in room). Was a very uncomfortable and cold night. Also didn’t like that I had to sign up for their email notifications to get WiFi. We are paying a good price to stay here, just make the wifi complimentary.

24 hour check in, friendly staff, spacious room, excellent air conditioning

The outdoor pool was closed until 10am. I asked for an airport shuttle to pick us up on arrival but it didn’t show up. When we took the shuttle back to the airport it was €15 (I thought it was included in the booking).

Nice place near Venice airport with excellent AC

The place is incredibly charming. The room was comfortable for four people, with a king sized bed and two twin sized pull outs. Extra bonus points for having excellent A/C; the only place in Italy that where the room was actually cool. Location was perfect, close to the airport and within walking distance to a few restaurants.

The shuttle worked great but there was difficulty scheduling for a very early morning flight. We requested the shuttle for 4am when we registered the day before, but somehow we were not booked when we came down in the morning. The attendant was great at making it work using a second bus but it was concerning that the request from the day before was not honored despite being told so.

Classic Style Hotel 2km from the Airport

We were in the new wing and it was very clean all fittings were brand new. Breakfast was good and in the evening they took us to a local restaurant which was clean and had a good menu

Wonderful property, scenic and serene.

I loved how peaceful this location is. The staff went out of their way to help with any requests we made, right down to the micro-filtered drinking water. The breakfast available for purchase was very nice. They even had a whole section of honeycomb to get your honey from. They had a free shuttle that can take you to a restaurant that they are affiliated with and the restaurant was excellent. We went there 3 times. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes’ drive from the airport, but we never heard the planes. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

I wish the airport shuttle was free. It’s so close. I have stayed at many hotels where the shuttle was free that were much farther away from the airport.

Excellent place to stay if you have to fly out of Venice airport at odd times and want to be nearby!

We spent a month in Italy, beginning and ending in Venice. Of course, if you are visiting Venice you should stay in the historical heart of it, which we did at the beginning of our trip. However, for our last 2 nights in Italy, we stayed at Ca Tessera because our flight home was due to leave at 6:00 am, meaning we would have to get to the airport by about 3:30 AM. So instead of staying in Venice for our last 2 nights, we decided to stay out near the airport which was a VERY GOOD decision. This hotel was excellent for this purpose! The facilities were great, it was quiet, very friendly staff and it was quite picturesque too. And I think they know that most people who stay here do so because they have to get to the airport (there are several hotels in the area). So they have an excellent shuttle service that will get you to and from the airport any time (book it the day before at the front desk), only 10-15 minutes away. And they had some breakfast items ready that early too. Also, because we did have 1 full day left in Italy, we wanted to go into Venice. It was VERY easy to catch a nearby bus that zoomed right to Venice, and it was easy and quick to get back to the hotel. Not complicated. And the staff can tell you how to do it easily. So if you are flying out of Venice airport and want to stay only a 10 minute shuttle ride away, this is a very good choice!

Might have been nice to have drinks available to purchase on site, since they do have a very nice lounge and outdoor sitting space.

Everything, I just loved ca Tessera it’s a piece of heaven. Wow breathtaking property, beautiful village and both indoor and outdoor pool amazing. What a room wow it’s so rustic and everything provided down to toiletry’s, sleep like a baby with extra pillows and duvet. Breakfast was amazing everything you could ask for and more. Staff absolutely fantastic what a great team and so helpful and polite.

It is quite a good choice for staying overnight due to its location.

It is closed to the airport, we drove around 5 mins to get to the hotel. But the parking lot is unpaved and made of gravel, so you have to carry your heavy lugguage or you should park really closed to the paved road. Since we arrived in late night and pretty dark, so we could not see it clearly. The breakfast is good with choices.

There is no slipper in the room. There can be better option for such price

The staff were very friendly. The gentleman at the reception in the morning guided us to take the bus to the city centre and train from St Lucia station. He was kind and patient enough to guide us on the directions as well as transport needs. Kudos to the staff!!

Though it’s near the airport, the location seemed out of the way and difficult for us as we had bit of luggage and had to drag it all the way to the nearest bus stop. Anyone with less less luggage maybe okay.
