The beach where the Sarojin chairs were was very comfortable but nearby there are many cheap chairs with a lot of people. If only the very extensive beach didn’t have as many people on it without trying to sound too selfish. I realise the beach wasn’t solely just for our use.

It is in a beautiful setting with pathways which take you round the garden and down to the beach. Our jacuzzi villa was totally private and truly spacious with every detail carefully thought out. We loved the all day breakfast concept which meant we didn’t have to worry about getting up early if we didn’t want to. The breakfast was the best we have ever experienced, it included everything you could possibly think of and brought to your table, cooked to perfection. The service is impeccable and all the team strive to make your stay perfect. We have stayed in many five star hotels throughout the world and we can honestly say this one ranks as one of the best.

Heaven on Earth

Heaven on earth. Stunning hotel, best service, delicious food, beautiful pool and beach. Spacious room with inside outdoor-like shower. Everything is beautifuly decorated and very clean. A few minutes drive to khao lak center and night market. Especially recommended for couples. The rooms are hidden behind trees, very private . feeling. Breakfast served once, but from 6am to 6pm Don't miss it if your in Khao lak. About 1.5 hours drive north from Phuket airport.

All day breakfast is a fantastic concept - it meant that breakfast time was really chill, not the mad panic you have in other hotels. ALL the staff were amazing. this hotel really has something special.

So close to perfection but for the noise.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were fantastic. So helpful, friendly and warm. They could not have done more for us for the duration of our stay. The food is exceptional (best hotel breakfast we have ever had!) and the rooms are beautiful. Pool area was lovely.

Unfortunately from morning until 6pm and until 11pm on the one night there was extremely loud construction work with diggers, dumper trucks and chain saws right behind our room in the plot next to hotel. We had booked the pool suite with adjoining bedroom and could not spend any time relaxing inside because of the noise. We felt we should have been told about the building work before we arrived but appreciated the fact that it was next door and out of their hands. June was very helpful in compensating us but it did impact our stay. Such a shame as it really is the most beautiful place with the most beautiful people. Hopefully the noise will be short lived but please make your guests aware.

Nicest hotel you will ever stay in … book it!

We have travelled all over the world and this is the best hotel/ resort we have ever stayed in. By a country mile! The staff were exceptional. The food was amazing. The resort was absolutely beautiful (they have lots of stunning landscaping that they haven’t tried to cram extra accommodation units into). My husband and I had a pool unit, our daughter had a ground floor unit next door to us (they intuitively put us together). My daughter has MANY food allergies and they asked us for a list on check in. Occasionally my daughter would order something in the bar or restaurant with an allergen in, and they’d spot it, come and tell us and try and find an alternative ingredient or suggest something else (mostly they found alternative ingredients). She also did the cooking class which was amazing. The two members of staff were exceptional with her (she has mobility issues and they were extremely kind). The main pool was beautiful, and best still, no loud music, no people blaring their own music, just peaceful tranquility. The beach area is stunning too, and feels very separate from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the beach which is a couple of minutes walk away if you want to walk there. The beach bar is a lovely area which is great for the day, and also for quiet drinks with gentle background music at night watching the sun set. The rooms themselves are just beautiful (I know.. I keep using that word, but it’s so apt). The outdoor seating area is a super comfortable cabana type wooden area where we would lie with our morning coffee… idyllic. Breakfast is included and you can have it any time of the day!! This is the most inspired idea!! I hate the whole ‘having to get up for breakfast’ on holiday (though we are usually up anyway). One day we were out for a trip at 7am, so had some of the provided fruit from the room to put us through and had breakfast a 1pm when we returned.

1). The only thing that drove my daughter and I to distraction, was the bathroom lighting was really bad for doing make up. They did provide smaller mirrors with a light around too, but these were next to useless. It’s a small thing in an otherwise perfect hotel. 2). Spa prices were a bit steep, comparable to U.K. if not a bit more expensive 3). This hotel has spoiled any other holiday. We moved on from The Sarojin to several other hotels, and all we keep saying about these perfectly lovely hotels is ‘it’s not The Sarojin is it?!’ 🤣

Luxury in paradise

This is our second stay at The Sarojin and it was exceptional. Our suite was huge, quiet, cool and comfortable, with every amenity provided. We loved relaxing in the hot tub before settling down for the night. The all day breakfast was outstanding and the service from the entire team was warm, professional and authentic. The pool is beautiful and peaceful and there are so many activities to choose from, if you wish. There are lovely touches everywhere, just to make it feel even more special. The gym is small, but spotlessly clean and with enough equipment to keep you ticking over, and we took advantage of the bicycles and recommendations for running routes nearby. We’ll definitely be back as soon as we can!

This Resort will redefine what 10 / 10 means

It’s hard to put into words what we experienced at The Sarojin—it was simply exceptional. Let’s start with the breakfast: absolutely delicious. Not only can you choose to have breakfast during the whole day, it is also of high quality. The direct beach access is another highlight. The beach is pristine and peaceful—perfect for relaxation. We stayed in a Pool Residence, which was fantastic. Whether we wanted to swim in our pool, relax in the Thai sala, or simply sit inside and admire the lush garden view, it was a perfect oasis of relaxation. The massages and excursions we booked were also of the highest quality. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the service was flawless. My fiancé enjoyed her 30th birthday at the Sarojin and they made it unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at The Sarojin. The level of hospitality and attentiveness was truly outstanding. Special thanks to the teams at the Ficus, bar, spa, and excursions—you all contributed to making our stay unforgettable. And a big thank you to the manager, Khun Kade, for your personal attention and for ensuring everything ran smoothly during our stay—it was truly appreciated. This was my first time in Thailand, and thanks to The Sarojin, it was an experience I will never forget.

It's hard to think of any downside to to this place... Be prepared to walk outside from point A to B. There is not a lot of cover around the Resort. Umbrellas are available in the rooms though for rainly season. There were one or two other very minor issues, but none worth mentioning as they didn't affect our overall experience

Rooms are dated and looking tatty; tiles around the pool need replacing / re-grouting. The position of the hotel on the beach is very poor; pictures are misleading as there is only a very small strip of beach packed with the hotel’s sun loungers and no screening from the other resorts. The food is very underwhelming considering we were very grandly told how good it is and how popular the restaurants are. The view from the side of the resort across to a patch of land which looks as if it’s being / about to be developed was a surprise as there is no attempt to screen it or no fencing in place. We were looking forward to a “luxury” “boutique” experience and could really only say this is 4 star at best. Some serious renovation is needed.

We stayed for a week and for that length of time two was enough but if we had been on a two week holiday the two options would have seemed a bit limited. We would have had to have taken taxi into town to get a different eating option.

The most relaxing and romantic way to spend a week

The Sarojin was the backdrop to the most special holiday for myself and my husband as we celebrated our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a step change from what we usually would expect in terms of service and attentiveness, but we were blown away by the care and passion of every member of staff we met. Kind, considerate, and keen to help, we felt so tended to in a way that was friendly and warm not stuffy and intense. The setting is so peaceful and quiet, it felt like I was living out a cliche when all my stress melted away. It is on the priciest side for Thailand, but we felt that every penny was well spent for the peace of mind and luxury you receive. We definitely be back for another round as soon as we can. It’s the sort of bliss you can’t write down, you have to be there to know it. And it’s very special!

Everything!! I've travelled a lot but this was the best hotel I've been to so far. Extremely kind and friendly staff.. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights but if we knew its going to be like a little piece of heaven on earth, we would have definitely stayed longer. We stayed at the jacuzzi suite and it was like a 7 star. We fell in love with it! The all day breakfast option was great too. Food was so tasty. Staff were so kind. We also got to use the paddle boat when the weather allowed. Even the guy at the beach was so nice and friendly. He kept bringing us cold water to drink whenever we would go to sit there. We went cycling too which was so much fun as to get to see just greenery around you. The massage and scrub at the spa was great but the ambiance of the spa was even better. Which reminds me, the amenities I'm the room were top notch too. Their lotions even smelled out of this world and were am natural. Their whole policy around the hotel was environment friendly. They had even decorated my bed for my 40th birthday and sent complimentary cake. The indoor and outdoor showers were both great. They gave us personalised bottles as keepsakes too. Thank you guys so much for making our trip memorable.

I think just the temporary construction work noise near the pool was disturbing but it's such a beautiful place that you can over look it. Honestly, we didn't want to leave and my 15 year old son keeps comparing the other hotels we stayed in after to this place and misses Sarojin to bits.

Paradise

The resort is beautiful - a mix of nature and luxury. Our villa was so spacious with a well thought out design. The facilities were fantastic, we were really able to make our villa feel like home. The staff were all a pleasure, welcoming and friendly. Make up and turn down services were executed efficiently and to a great level of detail. The resort puts great effort in providing environmentally friendly extras, such as reusable personalised water bottles and organic mosquito repellant. They really do think of everything. Food - the food was INCREDIBLE. The best food we had during our entire Asia trip, so full of flavour and not watered down bland versions. The spa services were amazing, the actual facilities are beautifully decorated with a very serene vibe, and the services carried out were just as good. It The public pool was fantastic, clean and a great temperature with plenty of space to lounge and proactive staff providing drinks and food.

There was only one negative - one of the restaurants was closed during our stay, so we only had access to one of the restaurants during our time. (Also - not the resort’s fault at all, so not a negative on them, but it rained for almost our entire stay, which put a little downer on the trip - just a tip to check the forecast before booking)
