Take your fishing rod!

We LOVED EVERYTHING. THIS PLACE CAN NOT BE FAULTED. You walk in the front door, and you are greeted with views out the back door to the ocean. (Which is basically your back yard). Bed very comfortable. Good shower. Basic, but good kitchen amenities. + BBQ Caretakers Pam and Doug were brilliant.

Peaceful location in Ahipara, fall asleep listening to the waves

This is the second time we've stayed and have already booked to stay again. Great location in Ahipara, walk to shop, golf course and right on the beach in the village. Always clean and tidy, quiet and comfortable. Always nice to have beach towels and a good stock of shampoo etc. This time we stayed in the 2 bed apartment, was awesome to also have two bathrooms! Great for a family with teens! Both the hosts and the onsite managers are fabulous to deal with.

Incredible!!

We were impressed with everything. I loved that our hosts introduced themselves and let us know about the property and facilaties also things we could do if we had some down time. It was such easy access to the beach that we were out there every day for morning swims and walks. It absolutely exceeded our expectations, as we tend to travel often. Thank you Seaside Gem Whanau.

In all honesty it was leaving we had such an amazing time it left us sad to leave our mini get away. Gem side reminded me of why Ahipara is truly paradise.

Treasure Trove. Magical!

Loved everything! The accomodation was amazing. The room had everything you could want. The views of the West Coast were fantastic and the Moana was a stone throw away.

This location is Heaven on earth. Loved it!

The panoramic beachfront view is spectacular. There are wild horses on the beach most of the time. Just beautiful! We stayed upstairs at the Haven. Beautifully appointed. Lacked for nothing. The water pressure in the shower was magnificent.

Gem of a Location

Location. Location. Location. Walking into the studio through the front door the first thing you see through the glass doors at the other end is 90 Mile Beach and the ocean in Ahipara Bay. The sunsets over the water are amazing! The property is at the end of a quiet residential street so no through traffic, but it's a small town so there generally aren't a lot of cars anyway. The studio was kitted out with a decent kitchenette and all the utensils you'd need (but we didn't use during our two night stay).

Someone parked their dual cab ute with boat trailer over both car parking bays one night, so when we returned we had to park on the street. This was out of the control of the owner of course. The remote location means Wifi wasn't super fast, but it was OK. The narrow "hall" to store luggage, hang clothes, etc, (between the bathroom and main room) is a tight squeeze and a bit inconvenient and I'm not a big person. But I don't know how they could fix it.

Oh my lord, open the door and look out to breathtaking view. Small boutiquish, didn't see other guests at all. Wonderful amenities in the apartment, everything you need to run away to just pack your bag and toiletries. Comfortable furnishing, comfy bed

Faultless! Absolutely beautiful!

The location was great. The unit was very private and felt like we had the beach to ourselves. It was set up as if they had family or friends coming to stay, which we found to be exceedingly generous. Pam met us when we arrived and was just lovely. The unit was spotless. We loved our stay and only wish we had booked for longer. It’s certainly somewhere we would love to come back to and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous location, perfect accommodation

Beautiful spacious studio with lovely furnishings, super comfy bed and lots of little extras. The private terrace is right on the amazing beach with a lovely garden area. I could have sat looking at that view and watching the waves forever!!! Just fabulous!!
