Beautiful building. Amble parking. Clean and comfortable rooms.
The price of the room was very fair.
The rooms were EXTREMELY HOT. Impossible to sleep in. I would never stay here in the summer.
I was there in late June. The temperature outside was 21c. The temperature inside the room was 35c.
These old thick walled buildings absorb so much heat in the summer it was like an oven.
No fans. No Aircon and just a tiny window with the noisy extractor from the kitchen below.
There is a massive and very noisy air purifier in the room too. Why ?? Bad air ?
The food was also VERY expensive in the restaurant. But it was good quality.
The price of the room was extremely good value. I paid £75 for a double room with an ensuite bathroom Inc a good quality breakfast.

The room was comfortable and we were very grateful for the fan and water in the room as it was during a heatwave. Very clean with a good amount of space in the room. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the car park was easy to access and all tarmac. The best part was having the bar, a lovely garden and restaurant on site which did amazing food with a great choice for dinner.
The only downside was the road was a little noisy at night, but was ok with the window closed.
