The location is perfect, just a little walk away from the beaches and the old town, but far enough away to be peaceful. The main living area, kitchen and bathroom are excellent and the roof terrace is superb. A great view of the cathedral. Some interesting cafés and bars nearby. The local food markets were wonderful...particularly the fish. We cooked and ate on the terrace some nights... stars and sunsets were magnificent
The sleeping area, being like a bunk on a mezzanine, was not suitable for anyone except agile young people. A mattress on the floor up steps is not acceptable for getting up at night. You can't stand up and have to climb over bedfellows to get out. Very poor design.

The location and price could not be beat - I booked this when I was planning on traveling solo however a friend decided to join me so it was a bit tight. We did not share the bed and she slept on the couch which was not comfortable and could use a refresh. The outdoor terrace is the highlight and selling point of the apartment.
The couch and rug need replacing - both show signs of significant wear. The rattan chairs on the terrace did not have cushions as displayed in the listing - we found only one cushion to what looked to be a multi-cushion set. The awning on the terrace would auto-retract randomly. Not a huge fan of the enclosed but "outdoor" hanging area for clothes to dry and would appreciate a rack for inside the apartment.

Great location and reasonable value for San Sebastian. Wonderful outdoor space to relax and enjoy the views. Everything in apartment was spotless. Once I got used to the app based entry system that was good. Washing machine and laundry hanging space was so cool. Good communication from hosts once we were there. Decent wifi.
Mattress on mezzanine a little tricky and not suitable if poor mobility. Lack of storage space. No salt or pepper or capsules for coffee. Entry instructions could have been sent earlier.
