Valentine's Weekend Stay in Cheltenham

Proximity to town, very tasteful interior, comfortable and clean. We both really liked the exterior of the building, too, given its age. Only real (very small) downside was that it was rather cold upon arrival which is to be expected in February and in a property of its age, but the heating soon warms things up. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location, walking distance to the town with available parking. The house is tastefully furnished, very comfortable beds, wonderful natural lighting, nice touches - info pack, house slippers, etc.

Small kitchen, with oddly placed fridge that’s a little too high. Fortunately their provided a mini ladder to make it convenient to access items. Not much of an issue if you dont plan to cook.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location.

The beds were vey comfortable. Furnished like the owner lives there themselves. There were plenty of supplies as well (ie. soap, toilet paper, kitchen supplies and appliances, etc.) Beautiful building, parking on site, and within walking distance to the main strip with the restaurants and cafes. Location excellent. Owner responded to questions immediately. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Only one bathroom, but that was minor. It is a lovely apartment and we were 2 women who just coordinated our shower time, etc. in the bathroom. We are spoiled always having our own bathrooms, but this was not a deal breaker.

Fantastic location to Montpellier. Lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Having parking here is a bonus.

Excellent, easy to walk into town or train station.

The flat was beautiful, very light and airy, kitchen very modern with all you would need to cook although we didn’t use it tbh!

The bathroom could do with a little attention, but nothing major just side of bath coming away from side, slight leak on radiator. Could do with a handrail for the less mobile in bath/shower. That being said it’s just a small note.

Regency Apartment. Perfect for a Cheltenham long weekend. Quiet, well served and very homely. Traditional and authentically dated.

General maintenance and cleanliness needs a review if the property is left vacant for several months at a time. It was clean superficially. Challenging to keep white carpets and walls clean when available as a holiday let.

We loved the apartment and great location would recommend to friends & family

The apartment is in a great central location to the city and shops. Plenty of bars restaurants local shops within walking distance. The apartment is bright airy with everything you need to make a relaxing break away. Quiet location at night. Bedding, towels, shampoo & soap were provided. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need, again some washing up liquid, cleaner was provided & a few items in the cupboard that you might need. The living/Dining room is very comfortable to use and a TV with Netflix. Dining table and chairs, place mats, parking is free in the area on road. Fantastic communication from the host, quick response times too messages and good information on arrival and departure. Welcome pack and lots of local information.

On first arrival the curtain twitcher next door was already wagging a finger and then came out to ask us why we were parking and could we move! we were in the wrong parking space, but a little politeness goes a long way! Due to the way we were asked to park, we personally felt this was a risk, should there be any emergency, so we parked on the road, which is free. The key access was left on a post by the front door, no issues entering. I do think it would be good to put a door number on the flat door! I was concerned I might of got the wrong room! The flat is very nice and the features are lovely. A little bit of updating the cracking paint and bathroom ceiling crack could be addressed. Re grouting the bath and renew silicone. No bath mat. Also for me inside the property is 4 stairs to the bathroom and bedroom, there’s no handrail. Most of the apartment was clean and tidy, just a few areas behind doors and bedroom cabinets hadn’t been dusted. The radiators didn’t seem to get very hot, they may need bleeding or servicing. some items of food /drink in the kitchen are way out of date! Dining room table the legs are not attached very well, could potentially lead to an accident as the dowels are not glued in! You can hear the people above the flat stomping around, it makes the windows rattle! But no other noise.

The apartment is beautiful. Stunningly appointed, bright and clean. Self check in is a favourite of mine and it was an easy procedure. The location is excellent for Montpellier and the town centre. Parking was straightforward. Though we didn't meet YingShi personally, she was professional and kind and helpful in all our communications with her.

The property itself was amazing. I love the big rooms and tall ceilings. The decor was simple but classy. There’s plenty of room for a family of 4. It had a touch of exclusivity to it. It had everything we needed for a home away from home

The communal areas could have done with better decor. I didn’t like the electric cooler and oven - personal preference and I thought that the fridge/freezer could’ve been cleaner. The blinds in the living room did not cover the whole window and so the general public could see in specially during night time

Beautiful apartment in Cheltenham, but services and amenities can be improved!

It's a very beautiful and spacious apartment with lots of Chinese paintings and decor. Most furniture are very stylish and in high quality. Located in a quiet and safe residential area, with some restaurants nearby. Small kitchen but you have everything you need (pots, kettle, utensils, washing machine, etc). 2 bedrooms (1 double bed; and 1 twin bed), ideal for family.

Free toiletries: the most troubled us is no shower gel for the first 2 nights (there's a shower gel bottle in the bathroom but it is empty/used up) and we kept waiting for the host to send to us. We had a long haul flight and arrived late in the apartment, wanted to have a nice shower but couldn't unfortunately. We informed the host immediately, she sent us a new one the next day but it's not shower gel, so we have to wait again for another day and received it finally on the third evening. Same as shampoo and conditioner: we found out the shampoo & conditioner were expired in 08/21 (our stay was in July 2022). We were shocked and we didn't use them. We bought new ones ourselves instead as we don't want to spend time waiting for the host again to send to us. Bath towels: the towels provided are too old and too hard to use unfortunately. Fan: the apartment inside is very hot during the daytime in summer. It would be great if a fan is provided. Wifi: poor wifi connection inside the bedrooms; ok in dining area. Balcony: we expected to stay in balcony or work outside like the photo shown in booking.com. However, it is actually not the same as the photo. The balcony is not easily accessible and cannot directly walk through. I guess you need to step on the sofa, climb out from the window in the dining room and move the desk by yourself? We didn't bother to do it so we finally didn't access to the balcony... a bit disappointment! Cleanliness: the apartment itself is clean. However, the hallway and stairs leading to the apartment (1/F) is very dirty and full of dust & stains.

Very spacious and well presented apartment. Really well equipped and plenty of instruction manuals for all the equipment Great location for sightseeing in the Cotswolds and area. 2 minutes walk to centre of Cheltenham and 15 minutes to train station for Bath, Oxford etc.

No issues at all. Had a problem with the waste disposal and had to leave for host to deal with but she was very helpful and prompt with reassuring.

Excellent stay in Cheltenham.

Location is ideal - easy to walk to most of the sights, and driving to other sights like Berkeley castle was easy as well. We provided our own breakfast, but there were some supplies in the cupboards - we used salt and pepper etc for the one meal we ate in. It was great to get laundry done - excellent iron! It was warm, spacious and delightful space. Our host was very responsive and helpful.

First impressions in the reception/hallway were at odds with the interior of the apartment, which is very nicely decorated. I think it is a work in progress, and it is an impressive character terrace with easy parking. The single beds and linen were very comfortable, but the beds are child sized.

A comfortable base from which to visit family in Cheltenham.

Easy access with free parking right outside the door. A beautiful living room and comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom worked well. It was quiet but very close to the Montpellier shops / restaurants, and ideally located for visiting our family nearby.

The fridge was hard to reach. We appreciated the folding steps but found it a nuisance to have to keep setting up steps to get up to the fridge.
