Excellent location and very convenient. washer and dryer on location and loved the full kitchen. The room had a king sized bed and a/c. we didn’t spend much time in the room, but the time we did spend there was very comfortable and enjoyable.
The restaurant downstairs was decent but our waiter was very slow and not only did he get our order wrong, he got 3 other tables orders wrong.

Good location, nice view - excellent view for Friday night fireworks. Handy to downtown and handy to Ala Moana. Good beach access. Good live music in courtyard. Nice pool. Hawaiin Vacations were very good when we requested more coat hangers and an electric kettle instead of the antiquated old boiler that was there.
The Ilikai is tired. The corridors on some floors are well overdue for refurbishment. Our apt 1538 desperately needs repainting. No beach towels supplied which was disappointing. Apartment had everything supplied but it was a hotch potch of cutlery and crockery & glasses and no two plates or knives and forks matched. Whilst the floor had been swept when we checked in, within a few minutes of our arrival our feet were black. We did contact Hawaiin Vacations who sent someone up to mop it. Fridge door was filthy with finger prints which we cleaned and the windows were disgusting - we also cleaned them! Whole place needs a thorough deep clean - It was a very expensive room for the standard received. Whilst the sheets were clean they were thin & old with small holes in them! I would be reluctant to return to Ilikai. For the money we paid I would have expected a better standard.
