The location was perfect as we wanted to do a section of the SE coast path Matt was very welcoming.

The floor particularly in the bathroom was very cold. No heating

Spectacularly sited. Well equipped for it's size. Best Host.

Met Matt the host at the door. Couldn't do enough to help. So welcoming. Cosy warm space with lovely views across the harbour. Shower was amazing. Bed was comfy and kitchen, although small was very well equipped. Plenty of parking space.

Not a complaint but it is very small. Pictures made it seem bigger. Quite a load place. Could hear the neighbours a lot.

Welcoming, comfortable, stunning views.

Second time I've stayed at The Haven. Welcomed when I arrived and shown everything in my room. Lovely warm room with an amazing view of the beach. The kitchen area was perfect for one person, I was able to cook my pasta on the hob and garlic bread in the microwave oven. Tea, coffee, and milk was ready for me. Great hot shower and a relaxing sleep.

Very nice location, friendly and responsive host. We were dissappointed on how dirty the room was.

Host very responsive, friendly and quick. He replied very quickly when we had questions. Location is amazing, very close to beach and some nice pubs and shops. Also some very nice walking around.

One of the dirtiest places I've ever staid in. There were black hair on the floor, in the bathroom, in the kitchen and in the bed. Something that looked like tabbacco on the bedside tables. The floor was not cleaned, it was sticky and looked like people wore outdoor shoes inside/ floor was not washed after. Maybe we have high standards but I would want to wear socks in the place I stay.

Great stay, beautiful Cornwall, friendly people

Matt is very friendly and helpful host and met us personally despite our late arrival and showed us our apartments. Our room was clean and tidy, well-equipped either for short or long stay (washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing desk etc). Stunning views straight from apartment. Salty breeze and waves crashing on the shore. Very cozy.

Everything was great, but be aware of really narrow access road. Ground floor room has stone tiles (with carpets), so it may be a little chilly in colder months.

Despite the weather, we enjoyed our stay, in particular the super views from the lounge windows.

One bedroom with balcony overlooking the sea

The location is amazing. You have a view over the harbour and bay. The room is a good size and the kitchen is equipped with two rings and a microwave. A good size shower with plenty of pressure! I was met by the owner who showed me my room and explained the best way to get the car turned on their driveway (I have a large car with a terrible turning circle but managed it)

The lane is very narrow as you drive down so be careful. Apart from that the whole place is smashing.

Beautiful spot, but very mouldy appartment on the ground floor.

The location is very good.

We stayed in the appartment on the ground floor (former garage we presume). The appartment is full of mould. We avoided to open the kitchen cabinets as much as possible. Even the smell is unhealthy. Even more unhealthy is sleeping in a bed on wich the duvet and cushions are mouldy. Besides that, the pots and pans are scratched in a way that they should be replaced.

This was our second stay here 😀 Lovely location over looking Portreath beach. If you’re lucky you can see beautiful sunsets. The host Matt was very friendly and was informative of the area and the accommodation.

The perfect place to stay in portreath

The man who runs it met us at the front and was incredibly friendly and helpful when showing us around our room and where nearby food spots and shops where. Room was incredibly clean and very modern, felt like our room had only just been finished with how well furnished and decorated it was! Not to mention the view! It feels incredibly homely and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a retreat near a seaside town

Compact but comfortable all amenities are supplied ,tv ,wifi, kitchen ,fridge ,washing machine and dryer ,outside bench,excellent view over the town and beach

Tricky to find first time , parking needs a few maneuvers but not difficult, main door lock very stiff , but we use the alternative door no problem.
