About this villa rental
Villa Ciondolo is a bright and elegant independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Ciondolo you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of Praiano. Villa Ciondolo is 230 square meters (2475 square feet). It features a panoramic private terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline, two private patios with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Praiano. You will find the closest restaurant at 300 meters (990 feet), a grocery store at 100 meters (330 feet), the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus Positano - Praiano line at 50 meters (165 feet) and the closest beach (Marina di Praia Beach) at 2.5 km (roughly 1.5 miles).
You will reach Villa Ciondolo from the main entrance of the building going up two flights of stairs (approximately 25 steps).
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Ciondolo. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, in a private parking lot. If necessary, you can park for a fee along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces). Patio 1
The first patio is 100 square meters (1076 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon tree. It is equipped with a small sofa and armchairs and with a table, chairs, two large sun umbrellas and sun loungers. From the patio you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea.
Please kindly note. The rental price includes: final cleaning; linens; towels; Wi-Fi Internet connection; daily cleaning; electricity. Available for a fee, if desired:parking, if reserved in advance;continental breakfast EUR 25.00/person per day;chef/cook;baggage porter. Middle Level (Entrance Level)Wellness room
You will be able to enter the wellness room from the living room climbing 13 steps. In the wellness room you will find a Turkish bath. The furnishings include a desk. From the wellness room you will be able to enter a small balcony through a double-glazed French door.
Living Room 1
The ceiling of the first living room is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and bright, and include a sofa, two armchairs and a desk. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter a balcony with a view of the sea through a double-glazed French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other small appliances. Here you will also find a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet), an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. From the kitchen a double-glazed French door will take you to the first patio. The room also has a double-glazed window with a view of the sea and of the coastline.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a high window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom 1
The first bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room going down five steps.
Top LevelTerrace
The terrace is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs, two sun umbrellas and two sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea and of Praiano.
Bedroom 2 - a pass-through room
Important notice: members of your party will need to walk through this bedroom to reach the third bedroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the second bedroom. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer.
Bottom LevelPatio 2
The second patio is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the first patio along an external stairway, going down 20 steps. It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon tree. It is equipped with sun loungers and a swing. From the patio you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea.
Living Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the second patio through an external access. The furnishings include two armchairs. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has a window.
Bedroom 4 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom through an external access. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second patio through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

Villa Ciondolo was a fantastic choice for our family of 9 - spanning various ages and stages of life! We had an absolutely amazing vacation during early June 2025. We thoroughly enjoyed the location of Praiano for all it had to offer along with an authentic feel. The outdoor terrace, view, and wading pool outside expanded the space significantly. The interior had everything needed to provide for a comfortable stay.
Summer In Italy were excellent - from the communications ahead of the trip ever since we booked until the actual trip, all my questions were answered and the information was straightforward. Dana the property manager was great, Barbara the housekeeper was wonderful, and everyone at Summer in Italy was very responsive.

The villa was breathtaking. The photos are exactly what you see and receive.
Our host, Dana, was so accommodating and she made herself available to our group with any need.
The outdoor space was beautiful. We enjoyed our morning sunrise and coffee every day. It was warm enough to use the pool and all the lounging seating and areas were comfortable.
We even saw the donkeys working as they went up and down our steps all day long. That was very cool to witness.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Very comfortable and good water pressure.
We spent our evenings hanging out in the kitchen and even cooked ourselves a home cooked meal with all the ingredients purchased at Tutto x Tutti. We had all the cooking equipment needed. The kitchen was stocked well.
I only regret not getting the opportunity to use the Turkish Spa and lounging area. It was so inviting; however, our days were long and full.
I would highly recommend Villa Ciondolo to any person or group wanting to stay in Praiano. The grounds were exquisite and I loved looking around every second I was there. I even purchased a beautiful linen top from Marilu In Positano!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Ciondolo and would highly recommend this house for large groups like we had. It was in a great location, close to everything we needed but far enough away from the crowds and noise. We will certainly book Villa Ciondolo again if we return to the Amalfi Coast.Giulia [the caretaker] was great and very accommodating.We have used Summer In Italy before and had such a great experience we used them again on this trip. Since our group was a larger one we booked a larger villa this time but were not disappointed as it was perfect for our needs. We highly recommend Summer In Italy and look forward to using them again on our next trip to Italy.
