Great place to stay and relax

Environment is perfect. Just like inside the jungle. But everything perfect. Room are great. View is nice. Food is perfect. Staff is always smiling and helping. Perfect place to stay and relax

Drop dead gorgeous views.

It is set in arguably the most beautiful Rainforest location with exceptional views and fabulous traditional architecture in superb gardens, it is worth staying here for this alone, a little way out of Ubud but easy Motor-scooter or taxi ride in.

1 main complaint, in this peaceful setting they decided to have a music night with loud amplified instruments which went until 11pm, I am not sure how often this happens but it ruins the wonderful tranquility.

Everything! A total jungle oasis, the location was outstanding if you want a quiet retreat away from the busy centre of Ubud. Centre is easy taxi / bike ride away and cheap to get to so no dramas about location being hidden away

It’s just so peaceful

This is the best location easily of any hotel we have stayed in. The views from the main pool of the valley and river were incredible. The staff are so attentive and eager to please.

Beautiful nature & tranquil athmosphere

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly - loved my stay! The hotel itself was very beautiful with lush gardens and an amazing view. The pool was not busy and there were enough sun loungers and sunbeds for everyone. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty and well priced - excellent quality for the price!

The hotel is a bit far so you need a transportation to go anywhere. However, that is not a problem at all, and not expensive at all.

A must do,

The location is 15mins North of Ubud town, so we hired a moped for getting about which was perfect. The staff are very helpful, friendly and gracious. This was an experience i will not forget.

Stunning place with great service

Everything! Beautiful villa with private swimming pool, whole resort has dreamy atmosphere, you will be surrounded with lush tropical garden, everything is precisely manicured to perfection. It is the most beautiful place we ever visited. And service was absolutely stunning. People working in Pramana Watu Kurung are so nice, very professional but with heart. Food is amazing and restaurant is beautiful, with breathtaking views. We felt very welcomed, our 4 night stay in Pramana was a highlight of our monthly stay in Bali.

It was nice to stay somewhere with trees and oxygen for once instead of grey walls and recycled air. If you want the opposite of an ikea warehouse, this is the place. Very clean, staff go above and beyond for you always.

Really good experience with the beautiful jungle!

The beautiful room and the yard with the swimming pool. So so beautiful! The location and view facing to the rain forests is fantastic. I love the lovely white noise. All the staffs are helpful and friendly. Food is amazing in the restaurant.

No Valley View for Artist Suite

The breakfast and the staff were very good.

I booked the suite thinking that we would have a view of the valley from our room however the room was a 5 minute walk from the main resort, back up the hill, and the only view being the walls surrounding the suite. The suite backed on to the local housing and we got woken up one morning at 2am with a party and loud music and the other days with multiple roosters crowing from 5am. We ended up leaving a day early and booked elsewhere which was the best decision we made.

Best stay in Ubud

The hotel was amazing and they've got the nicest staff in the world. They were always making sure everything was ok, knew our names since our first day. We had our Anniversary there and they were so nice and prepared flowers on our Bed and a cake. We were at the artist Village which is not in the main Resort but they have small cars to take you (we personally walked a lot). The food is simply amazing, we had dinner multiple times at the Restaurant and they served so much food during breakfast that we couldn't sometimes finished it, everything very delicious. We would definitely come back!

Amazing holiday exceeded expectations

The breakfasts were amazing with views over the river and jungle forest. The staff had exceptional customer service in all aspects of the hotel. We especially enjoyed the service in the restaurant. The chef gave us a Balinese cooking lesson which is a memory we will treasure always.

Relaxing and beautiful location, with excellent service throughout.

The room and grounds were exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They daily yoga was a welcome addition and really added to the relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely reocmmend this hotel and would love to stay again!

It was a little bit of a walk into Ubud from the drop off point. This wasn't really an issue, but it would be nice if there was one more pick up time as the last pickup is at 6pm which was too early if you were going to have dinner.

Gorgeous scenery with exceptional staff that bring true Balinese heart to the special place.

With the breath-taking setting, exceptionally kind and attentive staff and wonderful sense of true Balinese culture and tradition, Pramana Watu Kurung is a very special place and we’ll never forget it.

At first, I was a little uneasy about how open the bathroom was and worried it would allow creepy crawlies to get into the room, but I soon embraced and it was a central element of the property’s charm.

Exquisite design and guest comfort in the heart of Ubud

Exceptional design of lobby area and pathway to restaurant. Pure magic! Exceptional design of our villa and inner yard. We stayed at Artist Village and I strongly recommend it for a quiet hideaway. The private pool was great, too. Very friendly and professional staff at the reception and around hotel. All buggy drivers were wonderful!

1) Audibility - at night I could hear neighbors talking through shared walls. Not good for a 5-star venue. 2) Restaurant service - it was slow, staff confused orders and was a bit forgetful. The food itself was all right, and the cocktails too. Room service - the breakfast was good but already cold by the time it reached our room. Coffee was warm, but the food looked liked the chef put some cold buffet leftovers on the plate and sent to us. Also, we had two dinners after dark and it was difficult to read menus although small reading lamps were provided. The bar downstairs had limited drink selection.

The staff were top tier. Everyone you passed or interacted with was genuine, hospitable and kind. The hotel is perfect tucked away off a quiet road, and ideal for relaxing. The breakfast spread is lovely, the pool is perfect to cool down and the room is remarkable.

Would have loved to eat more of our meals on site but they have a very limited plant based options. It would be great if these were expanded!
