Booking site said home made pastries for breakfast, Breakfast confirmed by E mail -but not available

There was nothing pleasant about this place. It was soulless, outside was scruffy, piles of leaves -sorry but nothing to like about it at all! We could not recommend it to anyone.

Promised breakfast by e mail but told on arrival not at weekends .Staff disappeared. No food available and milk in fridge opened & 2 months out of date! Kitchen bin overflowing. Scratchy towels, shower in bedroom no en suite. Difficult staircase. Paid for 3 nights left after one!

The location very near to the villa Cavoir. Very quiet. The house has a certain charm.

The toilet is in your bedroom. So is the shower. There is no separate bathroom...You have to give the exact time you want to have breakfast, the evening before. If you say e.g. 08:30, your coffee (you also have to decide what you want to drink the evening before) will be put on the table at 08:30, whether you are there or not :-). So If you're 10 minutes late: cold coffee. I find that very inflexible, after all...you're on holiday. I had the feeling that the focus of the owners was on displaying antiques and flea market objects rather than on the comfort of their guests. This was a birthday present for my sister. I was very disappointed. I had taken the luxury room. I don't know how you dare to call a room with a toilet in the middle luxury...

Excellent hosts with exceptional accommodation

Room was lovely and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was a delight with homemade bread and brioche and eggs from their own chickens. Florence and Stephane were very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable and went above and beyond the 'norm' for hosts. I will definitely return and highly recommend to visitors to the area.

Short but very pleasant

Very friendly hosts in a beautiful property situated in a pleasant and quiet location. Very comfotable bedroom and a well appointed kitchen/dining/lounge area. Stephan provided an excellent breakfast with home made bread and a choice of meats, cheese and jams as requested. A good base to visit Lille with the Tram Stop a short walk away.

Superbe maison d’hôtes . Nous étions logées dans la suite dans laquelle les chambres sont extrêmement confortables, super literie ! Espace extrêmement cosy. Le cadre est juste fabuleux , calme et tellement agréable . +++ à deux pas de la Villa Cavrois .

Rien. Mais , en axe d’amélioration peut être, dans la suite , dans l’espace d’entrée, une banquette, et une petite table seraient les bienvenues. Cependant le séjour étaient plus qu’agréable !

Pas prix de petit déjeuner j'ai aimer le calme

Changer absolument l intituler de l'annonce on ne peu pas mettre chambre et spa alors que je n'ai pas eu le spa le préciser plus clairement sur l'annonce et je trouve pour 90 euros payé une chambre qui en vaut 75€ que booking prend une commission de 30 euros et manque les toilettes intégré dans la chambre alors que pour un hôtel 3 étoiles vous avez toilettes douche lavabo et tv intégrer de plus pas internet donc on est couper de l'extérieur bien que je ne fréquente jamais ce genre d'établissement je ne recommanderais pas si je compare pour des prestations similaires on paye moin pour avoir mieux ce qui n'est pas normal c'est annonce trompeuse chambre et spa et après vous rajouter tarif supplémentaire tous en bas dans les petites ligne effectivement je ne l'ai pas vu et moi qui était bloquer du dos j'avais vraiment besoins urgent de cette détente spa qui n'a pas pu être faite faute de clartés dans cette annonce et honnêtement pour se prix la le petit déjeuner pourrais être inclus hormis un simple café dans la chambre .en plus le propriétaire le jour de réservation me disuade et propose d'annuler la reservation j'ai su en arrivant vers 18h qu'il avait un rdv urgent à 9h30 le lendemain et me demande d'être parti pour 8h le matin sachant qu'il a reçu ses hôtes qui ont réserver des petits déjeuner il était 9h à mon départ et il prépare le petit déjeuner pour ses autres clients je me pose la question avait il vraiment rdv ou bien je n'ai pas pris assez de prestation petit déjeuner et spa cela lui ne lui etait pas assez rentable pour lui permet moi de me poser la question?????

Un endroit magnifique, reposant. Le petit déjeuner excellent, tout fait maison. Nous avons adoré le lieu et l'environnement. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire qui est très gentil et serviable.
