Stayed for Duran Duran at BST...location was fantastic

Damp smell in room when opening entrance door for first time or when entering our room in n floor 4 (in the roof). Clearly water based leakage close by.

The hotel was in a great location with easy access to transport links. Close to Hyde Park and some lovely cafes and shops. The beds were comfortable, and the air con was welcome in the hot weather.

Very well located. Easy to get to different underground stations and beautiful Kensington gardens. The staff is very very nice and both the rooms and lobby are impecable.

The description of my room said: studio. When it was actually a typical room with a small kitchen embedded in a closet (that was quite clever, by the way). It would have been nice to have detergent, sponge and at least a small cleaning cloth for the kitchen. I had trouble with the electricity sockets, the ones located over the "working table" had a switch within the socket's base and as I needed an adapter, which was a bit big, I couldn't plug it in without turning the socket's switch off. Hence, I had to work from the bed connecting to the one socket I found with no one-off switch. There were no side table lights, so either you had to turn the bright ceiling lights or be in the dark. The charge for early entry is ridiculously expensive.
