Nowhere to sit

Very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Excellent breakfasts, enjoyed whilst watching the birds in the garden including a woodpecker. The elevated position provided a lovely view across the Devon countryside. The bedding including pillows were comfy. The bathroom was very nice including a huge shower. Lots of thoughtful touches including a little basket with slipper socks in. With the bedroom at the back of the property (enjoying those countryside views), and the bathroom at the front, it meant with windows open front and back you could get air flow through to keep the room cool during the warm weather. The location was convenient for my day trips to Dartmoor. It’s 10 mins from the A30 dual carriageway, so handy to get to various spots. The roads from the A30 to the property were pretty tame for Devon roads.

We received a very warm and friendly welcome and the facilities were as we expected. The breakfast was wonderful with everything you could wish for and the views are to die for, we could have sat in the conservatory chatting all morning!

Be aware that the roads leading to the property can be very narrow and difficult, Nicola sends very detailed directions for a reason. please follow them!!
