- Paul was an amazing host and really knowledgeable of the area. He was very enthusiastic and proud of his community and the local area and very involved in it, which we really liked. He was also very helpful with recommendations of the area.
- There were many small special touches in the cottage like fresh milk, quality biscuits and teas/coffee, binoculars etc
- The cottage itself was exactly what you would need for a night’s stay and was very tastefully done. It was also great value for money and by far exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful cottage room with a delightful log burner that was a delight. Bit of a schlep to nearest restaurants but still worth it. Very friendly host next door
Sadly the whole peninsula suffered a power outage through the night so no lights, shower or kettle necessitated an early departure for breakfast

The location in Stoer is absolutely stunning. It is remote, wild, and incredibly beautiful. It was exactly the calm and peaceful escape we were looking for. The cottage itself was warm, cozy, and perfectly equipped, making it a wonderful refuge. Paul was an exceptional host who made us feel very welcome. Waking up to the views of the Assynt landscape was incredible. It really felt like a hidden gem in the Highlands.
