The Unforgotten B&B

Cute and cosy small hotel in a really cool neighborhood. Very nice staff/manager, large traditional Thai breakfasts, cheap laundry service and overall nice vibe. Our room was large, had effective AC and we had a really nice balcony to chill out on (even though we were mostly out exploring Bangkok so didn't use it all that much...)

It can be noisy as it is adjacent to a busy road (though a lot of Talat Noi is quite busy!) There is no elevator, so if you are on a high floor you need to have good mobility, not an issue for us, just to be conscious of it.

As a family of three, we have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses around the world, but The Unforgotten B&B is one of those rare places that stays in your heart long after you leave. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like guests and more like welcomed friends. The building itself is full of character, beautifully restored and decorated with incredible attention to detail. Every corner tells a story, creating an atmosphere that is warm, authentic, and completely unique. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Our child absolutely loved exploring all the charming details throughout the house. It felt like staying in a living museum, but with all the comfort you could wish for. The breakfasts were exceptional. Every morning was a new experience, with delicious homemade Chinese dishes prepared with care. It was one of the highlights of our stay and a wonderful way to discover local flavors. What makes this place truly special, however, is the people. The kindness, hospitality, and genuine warmth of the host made us feel at home from the very first day. His recommendations helped us experience Bangkok in a much more authentic way. The location is perfect, close enough to Chinatown and many attractions, yet peaceful enough to feel like a hidden oasis in the middle of the city. If you are looking for a standard hotel, this is not it. If you are looking for a place with soul, history, charm, and unforgettable hospitality, look no further. Mr Mos personally welcomed us on arrival. We loved our upgraded room with private terrace. Everything was immaculately clean. Bed was comfy. And breakfast served in the beautiful dining room was delicious.

We loved it all. Just be aware that this is an old building, with no lift. Book a low floor if you have issues with steep stairs. We found the walk to the fourth floor worth it.

The host (Moss) was friendly, very helpfull and spoke good enough English to have had decent enough conversations.

Didn't like that the bathroom was away/separate from the room.
