La Suite de la Maison du Village

Everything - location, interior and views. I had always looked longingly at Gassin from the valley, and it was a pleasure to stay in this quiet village at last where every house is lovely to look at. The interior space is generous, and decorated with great taste and a sense of humour. The very helpful owner has thought of everything you might need and everything is of good quality and a pleasure to use. The views from the little balcony towards the sea and the islands are stunning. We only stayed for a weekend but I could happily make myself at home there for a week.

I would come back immediately and am recommending the place to friends. There is only one caveat, which concerns guests with limited mobility - the apartment is accessed by some lovely old stairs with worn treads, and the metal stairs to the mezzanine sleeping platform are steep. Just something to take into account. If that is not an issue, don’t hesitate to book.

Super chic and stylish decoration make this a fabulous place to stay. Situated in the heart of the village with a balcony with wonderful views in the afternoon sun.

The stairs might be an issue for less able people. Otherwise super.
