The property was in a beautiful location . The accommodations were awesome. I have stayed in many places and this was by far one of the best places. Staff was extremely friendly. They had a personal reception for us with drinks and a charcuterie board. Our hostess sat with us and explained the history of Croatia along with providing us with a map and pointed out all of the locations of interest. Everything was so warm and welcoming. You could not ask for a better experience.
On a scale of 1 to 10, that you could only rate it a 10 and not higher.

The staff of Makarun are truly the nicest people you will ever encounter. Their kindness is only exceeded by the fact that they bend over backward for you in all your needs.

incredible service from the start.. Our room was upgraded and they were very helpful with our last minute requests. We were met from the taxi so they could take our luggage and walk us to the hotel. We were shown around the room and then invited for a drink and the most gorgeous cheese and proscuitto board whilst we were recommended the highlights to visit during our stay. Toni was brilliant informative and very efficient. Breakfast is included and is a feast in itself. Luka was equally helpful and delightful. The service really was outstanding and the location perfect. Thank you
