Nice having a full well equipped kitchen as we cooked a couple of meals. The AC worked great. Plenty of towels. The hot water was good and replenished quickly.

As I have gotten older I find things like steps, handrails, safety bars in bathrooms, etc. have become more important to me. There were 162 steep steps, mostly without handrails, that needed to be navigated with luggage to and from the apartment. There were no safety grab bars in the small, slick floored, shower. There was even a step up to use the toilet. All of these were a safety concern for me. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the cleaning could be improved. If these things do not bother you then you will probably find this studio apartment a good value.

Since it was in Old Town it was a bit of a workout to get there

The apartment is in Dubrovnik' Old Town, so getting there with a lot of luggage can be a bit challenging. That said, staying in the Old Town is absolutely worth it - wandering narrow streets, discovering hidden gems around every corner, and feeling the city's ancient history all around you is a truly special experience
