Lucky Apartment

Very nice, clean, compact apartament. In good location, just inside walls of Old City. Very friendly and useful equipment inside apartament. I recomend.

The location in Old Town is perfect. Tucked away from any nightlife/anything loud, but a 5-minute walk to anything. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but there are stairs everywhere in Croatia; you just have to plan for them. The owners are very nice and respond very quickly to any issues.

The kitchen was not very clean, so I cleaned a bit when I arrived. The hot water runs out very quickly. If another person had been with me, we would've needed more pillows.

Nice having a full well equipped kitchen as we cooked a couple of meals. The AC worked great. Plenty of towels. The hot water was good and replenished quickly.

As I have gotten older I find things like steps, handrails, safety bars in bathrooms, etc. have become more important to me. There were 162 steep steps, mostly without handrails, that needed to be navigated with luggage to and from the apartment. There were no safety grab bars in the small, slick floored, shower. There was even a step up to use the toilet. All of these were a safety concern for me. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the cleaning could be improved. If these things do not bother you then you will probably find this studio apartment a good value.
