Great location

The location is great and Lesley is lovely. She's a great communicator, and the beach walks in the morning were perfect. The bed is comfortable.

Lesley is lovely but there are improvements required for it to be comfortable stay. In the bathroom the cabinet next to the mirror is full of her ornaments and bath salts etc. The trolley/shelf beside the sink is completely rusty and looks nasty. The bedroom is not very big and there is nowhere to put the suitcase so I had to leave it open on the floor which meant I had to step over it constantly. The wardrobe was full of her items so there were no shelves available. The feather down blanket on the end of the bed smelt like it had been in damp storage for months so I folded it up and put i down on the floor as far away from the bed as I could. The 4 pillows were all super thin so that was a bit tricky to work with. It does state on the info that it's not the whole house but I missed that bit when I booked it so that's my own fault. When I came out of the bathroom one morning (with a towel around me) there was a guy just leaving through the front door. I'm really not comfortable with living with strangers to that degree so I won't be back for that reason.

Perfect location, so close to beach, cafes and shops. Very comfortable with a separate private lounge. Highly recommend and would stay again. The owners do live upstairs, they are super nice people and very respectful of privacy.

Inside home with owners

The location was incredible, the rooms are stylishly furnished & very clean. The couple who own the home & share it with guest are friendly & helpful.

You’re sharing your accommodation with the owners & there’s no wall or door between. There’s not even a working lock on the bedroom door so they or their friends can walk in on you at any moment. You can easily hear everything they’re doing (snoring included) so no doubt they can hear you.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, central, relaxed and superb location.

The accommodation is the downstairs portion of a home. Guests share the front entrance with the owners but nothing more. The location is superb, the bedroom is dead quiet at night and the bed is super comfortable - 3 things that are important to me. There is a bathroom with a small but deep bath, a shower, toilet and basin all in one room. The bedroom is large enough to be comfortable and has a small balcony deck. The lounge is really a bedroom that is furnished as a lounge. Set up primarily to watch the big screen TV (complete with Netflix) from the comfort of a 2/3 seater couch. There is a fridge, jug, cereals and tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. The bedroom has a TV only (no Netflix) on the wall. Hosts are lovely, parking is easy - great place - will stay again.

I personally would have liked a table/desk and chair somewhere so I could set up my computer and get some work done. It There is a reclining chair in the lounge which I think is rather unnecessary and if it were removed would perhaps allow for a small work space? Not a complaint - just an idea. Secondly, I cannot sleep under synthetic duvets so was very pleased to find a cotton feather duvet in the wardrobe - don't get rid of it!

Reccommend! A lovely spacious room in a fantastic location!

This is a fantastic place to stay. The room is on the ground floor of the owners property. Even though the entrance is shared, it is very private. You also get your own lounge room with a patio. There is a TV in both the bedroom and lounge. It was decorated beautifully and felt very homely. The rooms were clean and spacious. This place was also very secure and locked at all times. Location - The beach is just a short stroll away with a cafe on the water. The town was a few minutes walk away in the other direction. You could litterally cross the road to buy coffee. Our host Lesley,was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. 100% reccomend staying here.
