The owners are wonderful hosts - friendly and thoughtful. The accommodations were spacious and the full English breakfast was delicious. We ate fresh jam made from fruit trees on the property. The setting is rural with animals on the property, which we liked.

The only down side for our group was the distance to the nearest grocery store (4 km) as we were on our bikes.

Convenient location, friendly hosts, good breakfast, spacious bedroom, lovely typically French interior. Safe parking in grounds.

Unfortunately it was very hot in bedroom, a fan would have been useful. Traffic noise as had to have windows open. Spiral wooden staircase is lovely but dark and awkward for anyone with sight or mobility problems.

Tracy and john couldn't help us enough on our cycle tour , great stay with a mini zoo in the rear , nice breakfast and very helpful . the furniture was period and very tasteful ,great experience and would go again in a heartbeat .

Tracey and John were the most welcoming and kind hosts who went out of their way to help us. We were cycling on the Veloscenie and they safely stored our bikes in a secure outbuilding. Tracey also kindly let us do a load of washing in her washing machine. Our bedroom was spacious and well equipped and the modern bathroom very clean with a powerful shower. We arrived in a heatwave and it was very hard to cool the room, but we were given a fan. We were offered a very filling breakfast in the morning. We particularly enjoyed meeting the baby geese and the turkey who guarded the outbuilding where our bikes were stored! Thank you!

From a Veloscenie point of view it is a little way from the trail and does involve cycling uphill to get in and out of town for dinner in the evening. But this is not an issue with the property or Tracey and John’s welcome.
