The hotel itself is nice, with a large free car park and a garden. Everything is clean and comfortable, we could have done with another chair in the room. The staff are very friendly, especially Natalia. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but is very nice.

One night with a warm welcome and very secure atmosphere re covid precautions. Very clean and up to date room and very comfy bed, good breakfast served at table, again covid inspired, did not eat in but happy to serve pre dinner drinks in the lounge before going out. Would happily re-visit.

Have just returned from a four night stay with my husband at this hotel, We could not fault the friendly service, décor , comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. Facilities excellent too. Our only gripe was that there are not any English language channels on the television -even had there been the obligatory CNN or BBC World News service they would have been preferable to nothing!! We ate dinner the first evening in the hotel restaurant. At a set price of 29 Euros we had a most enjoyable experience. Although not much choice the food was delicious and the service and surroundings excellent! We only had the breakfast once, but there was a lovely choice of food and drinks - definitely something to suit everyone! We certainly would not hesitate to stay here again when we return to the area and would certainly recommend to others.

We stayed at the Lion D'Or for two nights. The staff were welcoming and friendly The room was comfortable and clean.. The breakfast was very nice, continental, at €9.50 (plus tax). They have free wifi. There is a reasonably large free car park. Excellent value for the price we paid.

Very nice small hotel. They serve beautifully presented fine local food. Good service. Unfortunately no lift in a four storey building. We were at the top!! This is not for the unfit folks! However next time we stay they promise a first floor room. Generally loved it.

This hotel is excellent value, spotlessly clean with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. We stayed for 2 nights and whilst the room (superior) was small it was bright, Well appointed the bed was comfortable and the shower powerful. Drinking water was provided.Breakfast was 9.5 euros each and was a really good with quality ham, cheese breads, yogurts, fruit etc.We ate dinner one night and again that was good, the room used for dinner really nice and there was a good relaxed atmosphere.The hotel is well placed is just a short walk into the town and we would certainly be happy to stay again next time we are in the area.

The room was clean, nicely maintained, the staff were friendly, they had a large car park & the hotel was easy to find, however the room we stayed in was right on the main road, and the traffic did not stop all night, at times the lorries shook the room, I hardly slept at all, so although the hotel itself is nice we would not stay there again.
