The interior design was exceptional. The whole Guest House has as artistic feel. With a warm welcome with emphasis on making it our home. With use of an outside area as well as a relaxing front room.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were quite sufficient. The location was great - we were a 5 minute walk to the metro which connected us to most major destinations throughout the city (old city, train station and airport included) within 20-25 minutes.

The location is perfect for seeing a concert at the Casa de Música, and near a metro station for exploring other parts of Porto. The room is very thoughtfully (even cleverly) designed and quite comfortable. They kindly provided gluten- and lactose-free options for breakfast.
These are very small things - we would gladly stay again - but they forgot to send the entry codes so I needed to call them upon arrival, they only provided one coffee capsule for two people, and the balcony isn't really maintained (dirty and bird poop).

We very much liked the nicely modernised building (which was built in the 1930s) and the location (very well connected to public transport). The only way to get to the first and second floors is by stairs (there is no elevator), but the stairs are not too steep. The room was big enough, the beds were comfy, and it was great to have the small kitchenette corner. We also liked sitting outside on the terrace. The owners and the staff were kind and helpful. We would like to return asap :-)
The transparent glass door of the bathroom + the lack of greens/tomatoes (any vegetable) from breakfast.
