Sikania Residence

The cleanliness and the great hospitality from Vincenzo and his mother

We didn’t dislike anything in particular. The only thing my wife would suggest would be a stronger hair dryer specially for the ladies that forget to bring their own .

We stayed here for one night and had a pleasant experience. The apartment is in a convenient location, about a 15–20 minute walk from Ortigia’s old town and roughly the same distance from the archaeological park. The host met us in person, showed us around and explained everything, which was very nice. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out. There is a kitchen, although the amount of cookware and dishes is quite limited. One thing to keep in mind is the layout: the bathroom is downstairs, while the bedroom is upstairs and can only be reached by stairs. Overall, it was a good place for a short stay in Syracuse, with a convenient location and a very welcoming host.

We had a wonderful stay in Syracuse! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city and surrounding area. The host was very kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Syracuse. We would happily stay here again!

The host Vincenzo and his mum were absolutely delightful, they made us feel like at home. They were very helpful in sharing information related to Syracuse but also tips related to sicilian cousin. It was lovely to have the opportunity to have a chat with them. Kudos to Concetta and her recipes! There were free coffee and home made cakes prepared by the lovely Concetta.
